The staff were really friendly, the room itself wasn't very clean and the sink was leaking, toilet kept gurgling throughout the night and obviously can't be help but the location meant the night was very noisy.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Late check-in was no issue. The room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials and a comfy bed. Location is perfect about a 10 min walk from Birmingham center. Overall had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Birmingham.

Great service from really lovely staff especially Bert, Shanaz and Niel in the cafe and the young man who checked us in on Saturday. Rooms were clean and cosy, lovely breakfast and good service all the way round. Would definitely return if coming to Birmingham

Birmingham Newhall St is the cleanest friendliest Travelodge I've ever been in. Lovely location. Excellent food cooked by Pat, Bert and other amazing staff. The receptionists Shanaz, Neil, Zhane and other lovely folks couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone was very kind and attentive to our needs. The location was lovely and the courtyard at the back felt very private and safe.

The staff were all absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough. Zhane, shanaz, Bert, Neil and Pat were all so friendly and very professional. As were every single member of staff we met. Lovely, friendly, clean and tasty food. And a lovely square out the back.

Our stay here was really lovely, staff very attentive especially Bert and Shanaz, Breakfast was hot and tasty. Ideal location for exploring right by the canal that links you to the town centre. Would definitely recommend and def stay again.

The hotel itself was clean and a good stay especially being close to the town and easy accessible to go into the centre using the canal behind. However during our stay their was a fire alarm going off next building for a long while before we slept and then all throughout the night leaving us only having a couple of hours sleep with the sleep not being too good. This in my opinion should have been dealt with or even apologised for my staff even though it wasn’t their issue they should have addressed it
