Overall Experience Impressive property that reflects the care and attention to detail management and staff have devoted to this gem. While it isn’t next door to the Mall of Berlin (20-minute subway ride away) and does not have the city-center bustle (meh), Hotel Louisa’s Place has an old-world charm with all the modern conveniences needed for a very comfortable stay. I will stay here on my next trip to Berlin and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable alternative to the corporate chain hotels. Room: Very much liked the room floorplan. It was like a 1-bedroom apartment with a separate living/dining/kitchen area and a patio with a table for two overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower. The 12-foot-high ceilings with ornate crown molding and large windows made it seem very grand. We felt as though we had a posh European flat for our week in Berlin with all the amenities of a very nice hotel. Location: I was surprised to learn that everything we needed during our stay was within walking distance. We found three grocery stores and more restaurants than we had time to try all within a 5–10-minute walk. There was also an abundance of other shops and stores near the hotel. The U-Bahn (subway) station was 1 block from the front door. The S-Bahn (main city-wide trains) station was a 8-10-minute walk or you could walk to the U-Bahn and ride it to the next stop and shorten the walk to the S-Bahn. We did not need a rental car since all of our activities were accessible from the nearby subway or train. Price: I did my homework and found this hotel to be well-positioned in the market. Value for money was very good. So glad we did not stay in the chain hotel we were considering. Service: Unlike American hotels post-pandemic, housekeeping was done every day of our stay with fresh towels as needed. They emptied the trash bins and collected recycled containers and generally tidied up. All staff were very friendly and eager to help with any questions and requests we had. Cleanliness: All aspects of this hotel were well tended to. I typically wipe down drawers and shelves before putting clothes away. That was not necessary at this hotel. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean, and I was impressed by how this older building has been meticulously upgraded and maintained.

Leonardo Hotel Berlin
4/577 Reviews
I have just returned from 4 nights at the Leonardo Berlin. I chose this hotel as it was the closest to my brothers apartment near Charlottenburg Palace. The price was extremely good value for money. Wilmersdorfer Straße is a few metres from the from door with all the shops you could want. 20 minutes walk to Charlottenburg palace or 2 stops on the underground which is a 2 minute walk. Our room was a comfort twin on the 4 floor, which was extremely clean and spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities, plus a free bottle of water on arrival. There was a an excellent selection at breakfast. Bacon , scrambled eggs and sausages most mornings. Full selection of continental cheeses, meats and salads. Pasties and breads galore. The ladies in the restaurant were extremely helpful as my mother has trouble walking, they helped her to a seat while I went and got breakfast. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Berlin
Goodman's Living
4.3/596 Reviews
Goodman's is a pretty decent hotel with good room facilities, in well maintained condition and in a very handy location to the U2 line and the city centre. Our room was sort of a mini- studio with small seating area separated by a room divider/TV stand (reversible tv screen watch from bed or seating area), small kitchen and dining area. We also had access to a rear terrace but didn't see much use. The staff we spoke with on morning and afternoon shifts were all very nice and friendly. Hotel is is a pretty good location to supermarkets/bakeries/restaurants and shopping along Wilmersdorferstrasse. U2 is less than 5 mins walk. Overall enjoyed the stay, if not so taken by the actual street area of Wilmerdorferstrasse. Hotel needs to swap out the oversized giant single chair for a genuine 2 seat sofa option - just not suitable for two persons and no other chair available.
Hotel Domicil Berlin by Golden Tulip
3.8/556 Reviews
The hotel room is large and clean, the bathroom is also large, and the facilities are relatively complete. In addition to the refrigerator and safe, there is also a simple kitchen. It is also very convenient when going out, the subway is downstairs, the bus station is opposite, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. There are 2 rows of radiators in the room, and 1 row of bathrooms. When the heating is turned on, the room and bathroom are warm, not cold. The breakfast is rich and meets four stars. In addition to providing bottled welcome soda water and tea bags and coffee bags, the hotel also puts two small packets of QQ sugar, and you must bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers.
Best Western Hotel Kantstrasse Berlin

Hotel Arche
3/519 Reviews
Hotel stands in the stairs. For and behind! The name Arche is not seen from the street In the evening the neighbors are outside and you can understand everything literally. Like the ramble in the kitchen. The room and the corridor smell muff because of the floor cover. There are many spots, the room is spacious, the bathroom is spacious enough, soap and shampoo are available, the furniture is very date-in-date brown, the TV is a computer monitor, there is no ventilator or air-conditioning. The towels are exchanged but once you get 2 small, the other 2 big. 1 towel pp is little at temperatures of 30 degrees inside and outside. The room girl had not turned our room closed. The door was closed but everyone could have walked in because the door was open all day because of the workers outside. When we reported it, the receptionist said: oh, okay. No excuse. It was apparently normal. The breakfast costs 7.50 and is wide enough. Broad, toast, cake, yoghurt and various places. You can take as much coffee, tea or juice as you want. Parking can be for 16 euros pd. in the street it is 14 euros for a day card. Tish a pressing street. There are a lot of dinners, mostly easts, nearby. 24-7 shops. Metro close. Different steps. In short, it is enough but it could be much better.
Hotel Spreewitz am Kurfurstendamm

It is a nice, simple hotel. We had a pleasant stay. Well, for the price you can not expect luxury. The rooms were simplely furnished and the facilities were a little used. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little simple but good. The disadvantage is that the lift only holds in the middle days, so the hotel is not accessible. The location on a large shopping street and a metro station is cheap, At the same time, the hotel is also well accessible with the car and nearby there are free parking facilities on the street. It is also offered a free private parking space. In general, a cheap but still pleasant stay. Who is looking for a cheap accommodation for a city trip, can accept a few posts and still wish a pleasant stay is right here.
