The hotel is located in a quirky area with many restaurants and near the beach promenade near the American University. It has 19 floors. Need to take a room with sea view !! - I had one in the 18th. Stock and was excited by the view of Beirut and the sea. The room has a small balcony and otherwise everything you need. It was clean and large enough to feel well. Breakfast is available in the restaurants on the street.

African woman & solo traveler here! My stay was an extremely pleasant one. Members of staff were always ready to assist and were all polite. The view from the rooms are amazing. There is also a rooftop pool with a view of the city, I couldn’t use it because I was there during winter, but if I return during summer, I will definitely stay at Staybridge again and use the pool.

Terrible experience. I made the same booking by mistake for a day from 2 different bookings pages. Even if my bookings were showing in their system as same booking, same person, same hotel, staff refused to help me. They asked me to contact *********** because they can’t do anything about it. After i was in touch with *********** i was told that hotel is the only one who can help me change the stay(i didn’t ask for refund i asked for change of dates!!!!!!). Staff extremly useless, it was very difficult for me to even have a conversation with them because i went trough a surgery a day before and i was there to recover. After 2 days of me trying to talk and explain my situation they told me there’s nothing they can do about it even if my reservation appeared in their system booked twice !!!!! They refused. The duty manager Mazen was even super rude and laughed in my face telling me it’s not his duty of solving such issues. I decided to check out and booked another hotel because there was no point to extend in a hotel that my money was stolen. At check out they told me it s okay i can extend another day for free. I m just speechless of such customer service, after having to go through many arguments with 3 of the staff and to be told it s nothing they can help with. I came there to recover after a surgery not to have useless arguments with the reception staff! Terrible experience. Terrible managment. They could have helped me from day one, they didn t want!!!! I definetly don’t recommend just because the rudeness of the staff. Rooms are ok but they smell very bad. If you’re non smoker you will feel it.

The only advantage of this hotel is that it is convenient to eat in the street with concentrated shops, it is difficult to find it by car, the hotel sign is not obvious, the car drove back and forth a few times and asked the road to find a person. The daily parking fee is $ 15. But there is nothing to eat, the price is not high, the hotel is old, the consumption in Lebanon is not high, but the hotel charges are high, it is not recommended to stay.

Great hotel. Staff all amazing especially Bashar at Reception who is an absolute hero. We arrived after a difficult trip and he was so helpful on so many fronts. Where and how to get money and the best exchange rates (especially with financial problems) where to eat, what to do, advise on what to do on our short stay, taxis, day trips and more. He was so helpful. Thank you so much Bashar, best reception ever! Hotel location was perfecy to walk to central site and a 20 minute drive to the airport. Room was big and clean. Breakfast option would have been good. Amazing restaurant across the road with the best local food.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The service staff is excellent. The food is excellent. One problem: I informed the reception desk my time of departure which was 5 A.M. the next day. and asked to have my bill ready the evening before I leave. The reception kept delaying sbmiting the bill and finally submitted the bill to me when it was time for me to leave at 5 A.M. The bill was filled with undue charges. I did not have the time to dispute the bill . I paid it. I later wrote to the hotel to correct the bill. I never heard from them. I am disappointed.

Room service was great.. Also there is an employee named Houssein at the reception, he is great.. The reception was very helpful. About the breakfast very delicious and cooked well. Air conditioning at the room was awesome. Also the room has no noise from the street or from other rooms, and thats really make me feel relaxed. A very old hotel. The facilities are old and the environment is crowded in the old town. The narrow streets are a bit dirty. There are only three varieties of breakfast to choose from, and it is not enough to ask for more than one cup of coffee per person. The portion of breakfast is relatively small, one international taste is very sweet, one Lebanese tastes strange, and one British tastes bad.
