We arrived at one o'clock in the morning and booked a double room. The waiter said that it would cost ➕100 for an extra bed to accommodate 3 people. (I called to inquire before and said it could accommodate 3 people, and the room type was also marked as not allowing extra beds. Now I don't charge ➕100. (accommodation), add 100 and it will be 500. You can stay with good wine and don’t have to sleep on a folding bed. The room type was different from the one I booked. The windows of the room I stayed in were very high! The next morning I discovered that the room on the left after entering the door was of a different grade than the one I stayed in!

The hotel is very close to Jingshan Park. It is antique and you can see the pavilion of Jingshan. After visiting the Forbidden City, it takes about ten minutes to walk there. Sit in the yard for a while, the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers make you very relaxed. There are not many rooms but they are very clean. The service is very good, they take the initiative to help with luggage, introduce the room, and help bring takeaways upstairs. Breakfast is a set menu, simple but well produced.

Wonderful location! It’s right next to the metro and a few minutes walk from one of the city’s most buzzing streets. It’s very easy to find, wherever you are, and whether you’re coming back by cab or metro. The room is very comfortable and clean. It’s modern, minimal and cozy. Highly recommend it!

It was my first time to stay at Rongfu Old House Hotel. I was very satisfied. The location of the hotel is very good. It is within walking distance from Shichahai, Jingshan Park, Nanluogu Lane and other attractions. There are also many delicious restaurants around. There is a bus stop at the door and a subway station 10 minutes away. It's also very close and convenient. The hotel facilities are very good. Yuan Peng's service is very warm and thoughtful. Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

The location of the hotel is quiet, surrounded by residents of old Beijing, no need to go to Nanluoguxiang. It is a three-minute walk from Wangfujing. It's fine, I like it. There is also a noodle shop opposite which is not expensive. When checking out, I also sent a set of mask disinfectant travel bag. The hotel is very attentive, the boss is also a conscientious boss.

It was snowing heavily in the room in Beijing - the first snowfall. I especially enjoyed looking at the scenery from the window. This year, the snow in Beijing icon has been very heavy. Beijing has become Peiping, the Forbidden City has become the Forbidden City, and there are few people on Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.
