My partner and I stayed two nights in the double bed room. We are bicycle travelers but wanted to take a day to visit the Great Wall - this location is close enough you can walk to the wall (25min). The mattress was so comfortable (memory foam) we asked the owner where they bought it to see if we could get one shipped to the United States. The room was exceptionally well thought out optimizing space and convenience. The shower works really well, the automatic curtain offers plenty of privacy, the mini couch is a nice place to sit and fresh towels and extra bedding are ready for you on arrival. The hostess also gave us fresh apples each day and we were able to do laundry for 10yuan as well as order dinner for a reasonable price that was freshly made for us and delicious! As foreigners with little Chinese, the hostess was very patient and helpful as we translated messages back and forth with whatever questions we had about the stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an accessible place to stay near the Great Wall!

There are so many cute fat cats in the village! Hahahaha, the village cat has eaten KFC! I really like this B&B. The lady even gave us a taste of the local apples, which were really delicious and sweet! We had a lot of fun climbing the Great Wall together! He also enthusiastically introduced us to eating and playing, and asked us if we wanted to eat breakfast. He could bring us breakfast and help us make breakfast!
