Brindleys

Built in 1871, Brindley's stands as a splendid jewel nestled within the tranquil Pulteney Gardens neighborhood, just a short distance from the heart of the historic city of Bath. The gracious service offered by Christina, David, and their team, the scrumptious breakfast and our charming, cozy room (Number Three) will be long remembered. Brindley’s “About” section on its website perfectly encapsulates the experience. Perfection with warmth and charm.

We are so pleased we have found this B and B. The customer service was excellent 2nd to none! from booking direct , to the meet and greet was faultless! Such a professional warm welcome, with the offer to assist in carrying your case when showing you to your room. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated in keeping with the design of the building. Lovely comfortable queen size bed. Set in a lovely quiet location, perfect for the city being only a 5 to 10 min stroll along the river. The Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked, using local quality produce, better quality than many hotels and eateries. We will be using this B &B again later in the year, each time we return to Bath and will be recommending it to friends, colleagues and family.

The hotel is charming and is situated in a area close to the city. The staff were really caring and could not do enough for us. We really enjoyed the facilities and the breakfast was very good We enjoyed are walk along the canel into the city. We highly recommend the Brinkley’s to you.

Very comfy bed, lovely, friendly staff, clean, well located. Very leafy quiet location (only noise was that of pipes!) whilst being close to the centre. Very friendly and helpful members of staff. Nice breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms. Highly recommended.

We actually booked the wrong dates and paid for two nights stay (thurs and fri) but really needed the room Fri and Sat for a wedding (completely our fault!). So the first night we didn't actually stay in and had to find somewhere else to stay for the Saturday. Was all a bit stressful as we had to get ready and get to the church on Saturday. Brindleys were so accommodating - they upgraded our room for the Friday night, which was wonderful! And they allowed us to stay in the room until 11:30am in order to give us some extra time to get ready for the wedding. The manager was a lovely gentleman who was kind, friendly and gave us some great advice on a run along the canal which was amazing! The breakfast was amazing, best sausages ever! What a lovely little place to stay, we just wish we could have had both our nights there - lesson learned for us! Always double check your reservations.

Had two lovely days at Brindleys. Everything was first class. Rooms very clean, lots of amenities, helpful service, super breakfast, central location. What more can you ask for, in such a charming location. We had an excellent experience. Thanks guys

What an absolutely beautiful place From the moment we walked in and were greeted by David we thought we have found a nice little gem here, When you think b&b you think cheap decor but this place tops some of the high end hotels I’ve stayed in. Very homely as if staying in your rich aunt’s stately home the room we had was on the top floor (easy access with a shallow staircase) The room was decorated beautifully with homely quirks and plenty of space, there was a big en-suite with a good sized shower, the bed very comfortable we had a great night sleep, in the morning we went down for breakfast and was met by Christina a lovely host very friendly and informative about the menu. We both had the full English which was delicious. We will be returning here when we visit bath again as Brindleys is within walking distance to the centre and great views of the city.

Wonderful B&B 10 minutes flat walk to the city centre. Immaculatly clean, spacious and well equipped. We really appreciated the comfortable bed, heated towel rail and waffle robes. Our room (No 6) was refreshed daily & toiletries replaced. Water, coffee and tea were provided in the room. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices and fresh, local produce. The staff were very helpful & friendly and we were grateful to Adrian for his sightseeing tips. We highly recommend Brindleys Boutique as one of the best B&B's in Bath. L & S Gill

Really wonderful place to stay! Agree with all other reviews - very comfortable rooms (we were two couples staying), the most delicious breakfasts and perfect hosts. Pleasant 15 minute walk into Bath centre and a bonus was the canal walk only 5 minutes away! Jenifer
