My stay at the Asia Hotel in Bangkok, an older downtown hotel, was quite pleasant. While the facilities show their age, the place was clean and comfortable overall. The bedding was soft and made for a good night's sleep, though the only minor drawback was the slightly noisy air conditioning. The location is definitely the biggest highlight. It's right next to the city's BTS Skytrain, making it incredibly convenient for shopping in the Siam area. Plus, there are 7-Eleven stores at both the front and back entrances, so grabbing snacks and daily necessities is super easy. The alley behind the hotel also hides several authentic local eateries, which really enhanced the dining and exploring experience. The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and attentive. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok for shopping.

My friend and I wanted a shopping trip in Bangkok and this hotel is situated to all the malls we wanted to visit. It had easy access to the BTS station from within the hotel which is an awesome feature. Their Crystal Bar is stunning and fab to sit in for a quiet drink. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel at great priced rooms.

The room was spacious, exceeding my expectations. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. Walking, taking the BTS, or a taxi were all easy options! The service was fantastic! Highly recommended! Facilities: Excellent Hygiene: Clean and tidy Environment: Upscale and luxurious Service: The soft service is comparable to the Peninsula Bangkok and the White Swan Hotel Guangzhou – truly five-star service.

The location is excellent in centre of Bangkok. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The sky pool is 1.2m only, suitable for people who can’t swim. The room is very spacious and with a bath. Also, there’s airport services provided.

Several front desk staff were on duty, but their Mandarin was quite basic. Interestingly, one older staff member at the luggage storage spoke very fluent Mandarin and even mentioned he was Thai. All the service staff were pretty good. I stayed for several days but surprisingly didn't get to use either of the two swimming pools.

One of the best cozy hotels in the heart of Bangkok ! I have been there for over 10 years and more than 20 times and I love this hotel so much. Staffs are amazing helpful and professional. The location is the greatest thing that I always choose this hotel beside the outstanding hospitality. Overall it’s awesome hotel for both business and leisure trip.

I almost always stay here whenever I'm in Bangkok. The front desk staff speaks Chinese, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The best part is that the subway connects directly to the second floor, and it's right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere.

Stayed here with my sister as when my parents came to Thailand this is where they stayed. It was an amazing location, by two 7/11’s which is ideal. The room was big, the amenities were great and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommend

The hotel was cheap, but the service and hygiene were terrible. The front desk staff, in particular, seemed impatient and had a discriminatory attitude towards Chinese guests. The room looked like it was decorated 50 years ago – it's hard to even describe... The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, it was freezing cold like an ice cellar, and I caught a cold after staying for two days. Also, when checking out at 12:30 PM, they actually demanded a 700 baht late check-out penalty, which was shocking 😦. After protesting, they charged 350 baht, but it took ages arguing at the front desk. The money wasn't the issue, but it was incredibly embarrassing. 😂

The Service: Hostile and uncompromising. I had a fully prepaid room but didn't have the 1,000 THB cash deposit on hand when I returned from an afternoon out. I offered to leave $100 USD as temporary collateral just to use my room's toilet before going to a money changer. Management refused, forced me to wait in a long queue again while standing guard over me, and treated me with intense suspicion. It took a third staff member intervening to resolve a very basic customer service issue. The Vibe: Unwelcoming. There is a literal menu of fines sitting next to the bed detailing charges for guest infractions. You are treated as guilty until proven innocent here. I took photos of the entire room at check-in just to ensure they wouldn't try to fine me for existing damage. The Room: Poorly maintained. The shower drained slowly, and the bidet spewed water constantly unless the main valve was turned off. The mattress was sparse, the toiletries looked incredibly cheap, and my view was of an empty pool. Conclusion: I booked this solely for airport access. The location does not justify the poor treatment and shoddy rooms. I will not return.

I stayed at Asia Hotel for two days back in October 2019. At the time, part of the hotel was under renovation, and half of my window was blocked, which was a bit of a mood killer. But because I really value its excellent location and super convenient access, I decided to stay there again for three nights this time. The hotel lobby has since been redecorated and looks much better than it did seven years ago. The hallways and rooms, however, don't seem to have changed much. It still has that old-hotel charm, which I actually prefer; many newly opened hotels these days feel too cramped and oppressive. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but it covered Thai, American, pastries, and fruits, so there was definitely enough to eat. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is super convenient, with a light rail station right upstairs. However, the hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the bathtub drains very slowly. Also, the hotel doesn't provide slippers or a toothbrush and toothpaste, so you'll need to bring your own.

I stayed here with friends and found it quite convenient. The location is the best part as it's very easy to travel around. Service and facilities were all good and met our needs. Cleanliness was decent. Overall, it’s a solid and reliable place to stay in Bangkok.

This hotel is very convenient because that connect with BTS sky train Ratchathewi. Breakfast was good but there are not many choice. Pools and Gyms are Ok . This hotel is good choice for family. I was stay in five nights at premier room. Very clean and comfy 🥂🥂🥂
