Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok

We stayed with Chatrium from 1 Sep 2023 to 4 Sep 2023 for 3 separate King bed rooms on the 19th storey. Views were amazing. My families' rooms 1910 and 1911 have kitchenette facilities which comes with stove, sink, cutleries, etc. My room 1914 does not, which is fine too as I did not intend to cook. On our last night of stay I did however need to warm up my baby's food (as she had a long noon nap which overran dinner time). While I was expecting a staff to bring the food to the hotel's kitchen to warm it up, the staff brought the entire microwave and set it up for me on top of the pantry cabinet ready for my convenience. I was concerned this really thoughtful service would incur extra charge but it was totally on the house. When we first stepped into room 1914 there were 3 or 4 cigarette butts and an empty **** tube left on the balcony, but staff was quick to respond and arrived with a vacuum to clear them. I have a cot request and it was set up nicely albeit not as comfy as the bed, if you intend to request for a cot too, maybe bring something along to buff up the comfort level as the folds of the base board may cause a little discomfort. My baby is 1y3m when she sleeps inside the cot and it already looks a little fitting. Buffet breakfast at River Barge is sufficient for 3 mornings, their sunny side up is flawless with oozy yolks. I fed my baby their oa**eal porridge with a little maple syrup every morning, it's great the choices vary ideally for the young ones to even old folks. Pool is also fun, though a little cold (avid heated pool user here), but we got used to the water temp quickly after a little water play. Oh, concierge is also worth mentioning! One of my baby's shoes fell off right before we board the 12pm boat shuttle to Icon Siam and we could only look for it after the 9.15pm return at night. Concierge has actually found it in the elevator and left a note at my door step. We were so thankful.

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River

Riverside Bangkok|0.8km from Bangkok Protestant Cemetery
Excellent service, memorable stay & experience with Louis Vuitton event & Virgil Abloh FW22 show.. We must commend manager Ben & his immaculate team at the FS Spa. Congratulations for a successful opening. We were the very first clients on 31 May at 10am appointment, greeted warmly by Ben as the elevator doors opened. Our masseuses were warm, engaging and professional, with excellent firm hands for our Oil remedial massage. In addition, the Spa shop has beautiful products for purchase. The concierge service via WhatsApp is convenient, efficient and just what modern travelers find useful. Day to day housekeeping requests, in room dining order, restaurant bookings etc. Nothing is too much to ask for the excellent FS team who is service-oriented and well-trained. We had a river-view room. It definitely adds to our experience in Bangkok, especially adding to our long awaited post-pandemic travel excitement. The view over Chao Phrya river & BKK city, day and night, is beautiful. We enjoyed the main pool at different times of the day, never crowded. Attentive poolside service upon arrival, towels freshly prepared over sunbeds, iced water for all, magazines & sunscreen at hand, what more could one ask for. The water is clean, the pool layout is great, the change rooms one level down is immaculate and enjoyable. Wi-Fi is available in all parts of the hotel. Lastly, the food and ambience. The hotel has a luxurious comfortable feel. The lobby is grand and impressive. Breakfast at Riva has eggs made-to-order, freshly cut tropical fruits, flakey pastries. Daily Thai iced teas for everyone!
Capella Bangkok

Capella Bangkok

Riverside Bangkok|0.96km from Bangkok Protestant Cemetery
Excellent~! except 4 things below. Staffs are SUPER kind. 1. Luggage keeping for early check in I checked out from Four seasons and continuously checked in to Capella. So I asked my luggage from Four seasons to Capella. But I was very disappointed when I first saw that my luggage are stored outside of Capella lobby. My luggage was outside of the building and the weather was more than 35 degrees at that time. My luggage should be cooked. If I knew that you guys will store my luggage outside of the building, I wouldn't ask that kind of request. I would carry them for myself and ask put my luggage inside of the storage before check-in. If you and Four seasons decided to care for luggage service for customers who use both hotel, you need to store customers' luggage inside the building which is cool and safe. 2. Electric blind. Because of malfunctioning of the blind in the bathroom. I had to call for the staff at night. But there were dust and dirt at one of engineering staff's clothes. I understand that he could easily have dirt on his clothes considering that he is an engineer but anyway he brought dust in my room. Moreover, it took some time to fix the electronic blind and it caused lots of dust while fixing and they had to step up my washstand so that I requested to clean. But when the staff came to clean the bathroom, he doesn't look so professional. First, he brought 3 hand mops in his hand but hand mops look dirty(at least not clean, old, too much used, stitches loosen) and his cleaning process doesn't look so professional too. I guess he might not be professional cleaning staff, rather than night watch. I explained him that due to fixing the blind, there were lots of dust there, and he said ”Yes” but he just wiped out washstand and wash bowl. But still lots of dust remains on the water tap which shines so that easily looking for dust. 3. Cin Cin hour Cin Cin hour itself was good. But the qualify of finger food was bad considering expectation of Capella. It seemed that the finger food came from leftover of the morning buffet. The finger food was dried and not fresh. Also, in my experience of both four seasons(BKK Social Club) and Stella, overall interior is better in BKK Social Club. 4. Boat Time Table From 7 pm, Boat arrives and leaves at Pier 1 from ICONSIAM(used to be Pier 3 during daylight). But there was no explanation not only in the time table but also from the staff. So, I missed the boat and had to spend another hour.

The staff at the front desk was very kind. The bed was clean but the shower room was a bit disappointing. The toilet and shower are very close, and the one that separates is one curtain. Also, when I sat in the toilet, the curtain was in the way, and when I tried to leave it, I touched the ventilation fan. The location is great and it is a 3 minute walk to the Asian Teak Night Market. I will stay again when I visit Bangkok.

Booked a Superior Riverside room, which is more 'viewing the River from across the Asiatique car park”, as opposed to actually being Riverside, but we knew this before booking. Room consisted of a small kitchenette, consisting of a fridge, microwave & basic cutlery. A very large comfortable bed & a Large bathroom, with an excellent shower. Room looked a bit tired in some places, but in general was ok & was cleaned daily. Reception staff & concierge / car park security were excellent, very helpful & always polite. Your room key card gives access to the lifts, so only guests are able to operate them, which is a good security feature. Location is almost directly opposite, Asiatique the Riverfront. Which has plenty of places to eat, although it was fairly quiet when we visited, as it had only just re-opened the day before, after being closed due to covid. Also 250M walk away, is the Wat Ratchasingkhon Pier, for catching the Chao Phraya Express boats.

Good to have free boat shuttle to Sathorn pier which is close to Saphan Taksin BTS. And the hotel staffs were nice and helpful. When we reported that there were noise from air conditioner, they arranged a new room next day and upgraded my room as well. Will back again for my next trip.

The apartment is near the pier night market. If you want to go to the Grand Palace, you can also go to the nearby pier and take the boat directly. It is very convenient! The staff of the apartment are very friendly and comfortable. The apartment bed is very comfortable and clean.
