Such a warm and welcoming environment- staff went the extra mile to chat to our little girl and make her feel special. Kim was particularly lovely and made us feel right at home! Food was piping hot and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

Great hotel, with very pleasant a**osphere, good food and breakfasst were very nice too Rooms a tad dated, but nontheless were cozy , warm, clean, ensuites nice too and again very clean etc Hotel staff were very pleasant & helpful at all times

We’ve been on and off for years whether it be drinks or food. Drinks have always been good but food has been hit and miss. The most recent visit confirmed we won’t be back for either. The service we experienced wasn’t great but also watching other customers experience confirmed it was terrible. The food was so slow to come out and the restaurant wasn’t even full. About 45mins for each course to come out except dessert which was just ice cream and when you have young kids it’s just too long to wait. Another table actually left due to the wait for their first course to arrive and the manager didn’t even seem to apologise (unless our table missed that part) but only say “it’s just coming out”. Staff were speaking with another table (which I assume one themselves was staff as she mentioned working that morning on her day off) and complaining about how busy it was and there wasn’t enough staff. Not really professional on the floor. The food was okay but disappointing for the price. We also ordered a coffee that never arrived but we gave up by that point. We also heard the main server advise further customers they didn’t have any tables available, which I’m assuming is just because the kitchen was backed up as they sat empty the whole 3hours we were there. No check ins to see if we needed any more drinks or if everything was okay.

Everything was excellent!! From the initial greeting to the dinners, breakfasts and drinks we couldnmt have felt more welcome or looked after. Very reasonable prices too. Thank you especially to Ciara and Danny for going above and beyond.

Great staff, warm environment. Always a smile when welcoming in. Clean and tidy and would highly recommend it to anyone. Good value for money and a wide range of drinks on offer. Beer garden has had a lot of upgrade recently and is ideal for nice weather

What can I say, what a lovely little hotel. The food was excellent, the rooms were comfortable (especially the beds), and clean. What really gives it the fifth star, though, is the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. Worthy of particular mention are Debbie, Sandra, Rowan, Ciara, Gerrard and Mary. Thank you for personally, making my stay a really enjoyable one 😀🙏

Great place to go for a spot of dinner.lovely food, quick service from the time I ordered and the food was good and at good pricing. nice surroundings, very comfortable and warm feels. Staff were nice and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Came here as a couple for valentines day and my birthday thanks to my wonderful wife, we had room 6 at the front with large spacious bed and everything was at hand as everyone has said. The staff are very friendly and attentive and are willing to help in anyway. Rooms are very clean and very cozy and warm. Some parts are needing a little tlc but it all is part of this quaint hotel. The bar and restaurant areas are all well thought out. The full Scottish breakfast is a gut buster absolutely fabulous. The reception is to the side of the bar . Overall balloch is a nice place and the rain never put us off we will return. Thanks to all the staff we had a great time.

Had a fabulous few nights here, great location in Balloch, just across the road from boat trips on Loch Lomond and the park with stunning views and scenery. Mary and her wonderful team were some of the loveliest and happiest staff I’ve ever encountered, nothing was too much trouble and they really go the extra mile to make you feel so welcome. Rooms are regularly cleaned and have nice comfy beds with lots of little extras like soaps, hand creams and even a coffee machine! We had a great breakfast every morning with lots of choice and we ate there one evening too, also great choice and their chefs are top notch. I would definitely stay here again!
