There is a shower in this hotel. I want to go back there and recommend close friends. There is no such thing in the rest of the hotels. Everything is thought up to the tiny things. And very beautiful 😍. You can swim on the sap and dive with a mask. The riff is very beautiful, not worse than in the Maldives. I liked the ocean-side massage under the noise of water. Service and comfort level are the best hotels in the world I was in..

Stayed 4 nights (wish it was longer) at the resort. It is set in a beautiful location with amazing sun rises (worth getting up for). The gardens are so well kept and immaculate with water features dotted around, you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. We didn't dive this time but have dived here before and found the dive centre to be excellent my 2 sons did their advance PADI and the tuition was very professional. Most Chalets have an ocean view we stayed in number 8 which was very comfortable. We had 2 massages each which we loved. The highlight is the restaurant overlooking the sea we saw Lombok as the skies where clear and whilst having breakfast saw a pod of dolphins swim by. The food is excellent and menu extensive you could eat there for 2 weeks and not get bored. What we really liked and what as a tourist is so important is the resort employs locals which provided excellent service. There is a real feel of being ECO friendly here: fresh drinking water in your room is provided in a glass jug (not plastic bottles), straws are metal, the gorgeous smelling organic bath products are in large dispensers on the wall in bathroom not small plastic bottles that where in every other hotel we stayed at in Bali. A little piece of Paradise and we look forward to our next visit.

Come to Tucun to dive on honeymoon. The hotel has been upgraded to a villa with very warm service. The environment is very good. It comes with a huge seaside yard and a big swimming pool. The beds are big and small. It is very suitable for a family or a group of friends to live in. I think it is one of the best hotels in Tulanben. The food is a bit average, but to be honest, the food in Tucun is very average. I used the hotel's SPA and shuttle service, which are more reliable. Five-star praise + recommendation.

Relax Bali was beautiful low-key beach resort with full access to a dive shop. They had a spa with massages, a full restaurant and two different relaxing pools. Breakfast was included with our stay. It was a very chill island vibe. We stayed in the standard rooms which were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. There was an outdoor shower with plenty of privacy. Looking out our window we could see the ocean views and the pool out front. There is even a treehouse type structure that we could climb up to and watch the sunrise in the morning. The beach is very rocky, so don’t expect white sand. We also did a day of diving at the resort and were able to walk steps from the beach into an amazing coral reef. Our guide was Septi and he was very fun and attentive. We even saw a shark swimming (the nice reef shark kind) and sea turtles, super colorful coral & fish. While we were there for a romantic vacation, there were several families with kids, and the resort was incredibly family-friendly. They have several larger rooms suitable for family stays. They have kayaks you can borrow as well. It took about 3 to 4 hours by car to get there from the Airport/Kuta area, but if you have a driver, there are some cool attractions on the way in route, including water, palaces and temples. We paid about $50 USD from Kuta-Kubu with stops along the way. I would absolutely stay there again the next time I’m in Bali for scuba.

Amazing cosy little modern hut at the centre of mount Batur and lake, the view is beautiful and surreal, however is remotely located at a remote village really hard to find but with local help you get through. For those explore a life of villages and enjoy remote places .😺

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
