We only had the one night here but it was lovely. Friendly welcoming staff, a huge room with lounge area, bedroom, bathroom, large wardrobe area and a balcony to enjoy an evening drink on. Lush decor with small pool in centre, enjoyed an early breakfast before we headed to hhe harbor for an early morning boat trip onwards

If you are looking for a small idyllic boutique resort reminiscent of the Old Bali then this is the one for you. Full of character with amazing gardens, restaurant and pool area. Treat yourself and stay in one of the very reasonably priced pool villas. All the staff are so genuinely friendly and go over and beyond their responsibilities to ensure you have a memorable stay. I lost my prescription glasses on a trip to Hardys. They drove me back there and the resort driver offered to come in to the store and act as an interpreter for me (they were eventually found). Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. We had dinner at the restaurant several times and the food was delicious. A shuttle service is provided but a taxi into central Sanur only costs about $4 AUD.. A huge thank you to everyone at the resort for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back!!! 🌸

Arrival from the airport: Devi had arranged an SUV for me! I am delighted that I listened to her advice! Nyoman, is a total gentleman and has worked with Sugiras Living for 7 years! Nyoman was waiting with a card at the Denspasar airport! Registration: I was received at the door by Ms. Devi, and the check in process was quick and easy! No waiting in lines after a long trip! Floor: Clean and you can even walk barefoot here, if you like! Bathroom: The shower has both hot and cold water. The shower area drains properly. Towels: Two large towels provided. Toilet: Works fine. Bed: King size, comfortable. Four pillows. Sheets: Clean. Room: Noise free at night. TV and small fridge in the room. Rooms: Fan and AC is available. Trash can.

Advantages: First of all, this is very good value for money, it is said that the hotel opened only a few months. With a price of 300 or so, you can get a two-bedroom, one-bedroom family suite with a kitchen! In fact, Ctrip said that three people stayed, but I looked at the room, and actually can live 8 people. Because each room is a large bed with two small beds. What I recommend is that the bed is very comfortable, moderately soft and hard! All facilities are very new, complete and clean! Breakfast is ordered, and freshly squeezed juice. This price is great value. Disadvantages: The traffic is inconvenient. It takes 2 or 3 minutes to drive to the nearby pedestrian street. There is no place to visit around. It is only suitable for passengers who rent a car to rent a motorbike.

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
