On our arrival to Les villages natures, we had a very good first impression with the reception staff being friendly and helpful. There are lots of amenities such as water park, table tennis, restaurants, shops etc. However, as we could not check into our room until 4pm, we spent the day at Disneyland until about 11pm. When we arrived back we then spent 20 minutes walking up and down the location looking for our room. The sign posts are so unhelpful, maps are not clear. Signs pointed us one way for us to later discover we were meant to go back the way we came. The entire place is terribly lit, very poor brightness making it even harder to find where we’re going. There is no where to get water once the shops are closed and no water taps around the location which I think is not good for such a large area. Despite being a self catering accommodation, the lack of stuff in the apartment is terrible. First of all there was no hand soap in the bathroom which should be standard anywhere you go. The pillows on the bed are the size of a cushion for the couch. However they are comfortable but way too small. Overall i would never stay here again due to the lack of sufficient assistance and directions in this accommodation. But in general it needs a good redo and fix up what needs to be done.

Pool is fantastic -huge hit with our kids and the location is good for Disney but several *******. Most seriously they want you to do everything on the app, even find your way around (very poor signage). I’m ok with this but it turns out that the app is “incompatible with UK devices”. This is a pretty major issue considering they have many British guests. None of the four of us were able to access. We spent the first hour or two of our trip driving then walking round in circles trying to find something to eat. Stayed in a premium appartment which was generally fine but on the ground floor surrounded by trees which meant dark and gloomy. Very poor kitchen equipment (no reasonably sized pan for example!). Staff generally surly and unhelpful. Big exception at the information point where they were exceptionally helpful on several occasions. You can get proper maps and book stuff here if you can’t get the app to work. All organized activities seemed to be in the afternoon which doesn’t really work if you want to stay on site in the morning and visit Disney later on (which was our preference). A decent peaceful base if you are visiting Disneyland but not sure I’d recommend otherwise.

This place could be great and some parts are, it’s a vast site and lovely grounds, the pool area is brilliant, some of the activities are good although expensive for what they are. Our apartment, a ‘VIP’ one was very basic, tired, torn furniture and a bit grotty, kitchen only good for very basic meals, generally dark and gloomy, not helped by half the lights not working, we asked repeatedly at reception for this to be resolved but never was, the staff don’t really seem to care, some guests had it worse with ant infestations. We brought our bikes which I wouldn’t bother doing unless you plan to go a bit further afield on them as all the main areas are bike free and you cycle on the outer roads and leave the bike in bike parks, quicker to walk in most cases. It is very well placed near to Disney if that’s why you are coming. A lot of reviews say European centre parcs are cheaper than UK ones, if this place is the norm I can see why, you get what you pay for.

We went in the May half term with 3 children and had a 1 bedroom apartment. Download the app at the start of your break and book any extra activities on it asap to avoid disappointment. I was pleasantly surprised at the modern accommodation. It was very clean and has lots of storage space. The hot towel rail a useful for swimming. There are 2 entrances for CP, you want the one for overnight guests which is further along the motorway. The swimming pool facilities were a cut above most I’ve been to. So many slides and pools for different ages. The lazy river was very addictive. Some areas needed a good jet spray and the floor in the changing rooms was so slippery. The drains were also blocked around the pools. We didn’t see any cleaners. The only annoying thing was that the microwave didn’t have an oven setting as far as I could work out and we brought food to bake. The Italian restaurant was good though and you can use the app to order click and collect. We didn’t get to explore much of it aside from the pool area as we were at Disney for 2 days but would definitely return. The supermarket was very handy. Loved watching the peacock wandering around by our apartment.

The property was a lovely size and the pool, farm, restaurants, soft play etc was lovely. However being a “car free” holiday I expected to only see cars in carparks and driving mostly on the perimeter roads, not to be dodging cars with my children because people want to park their cars outside their lodges. The management did nothing to remove these people to carparks (threats of towing on signs, I think not) even though they were parked there for 4 days and overnight etc. The walks to the lodges were long and poorly lit also which isn’t ideal with small children which let down this property for me. In our room the toaster was missing, missing teapot lid, no filter in the coffee machine and the shower was a death trap, the glass was off of the runners and hanging on by a thread. We reported all of these and only the toaster was sorted in the 4 nights we were there. Whilst the pool is beautiful, I was unfortunately unable to swim and there are NO places for spectators to sit unless you go to the pool in swimwear and sit on a chair. I was pointed to a viewing window which was a pane of glass with no seats and covered in foliage.. you can see nothing. I had high hopes for it being as it’s a centre parcs but unfortunately we probably won’t be returning with small children.

We were a little worried about going here, having read some online reviews but shouldnt have been. The accomodation was just as pictured, pool and play areas were great, activities well run amd staff all very lovely. We dodnt have a car but the onsite supermarket catered for our needs, with the only exception being no availability of simple medication. There are a few rough edges here and there but it is a huge development with a high turnover of visitors which costs considerably less than the UK equivalents.

Had a great family stay here. Done 4 days in Disney first then came to Les Villages Nature for 5 days. Lots to do here so can always keep busy or chill. Overall the cottage was in good condition, but finer details like pulling out the couches and the beds to clean properly underneath would make it better. There was only one fan so it would be good to have two, one for each room when it is warm of an evening. Restaurants are quite expensive, but what you would expect. The supermarket Franprix on site is good value for a lot if stuff. We would recommend here and return.

It was a great stay and the swimming and facilities were great. Only downside was we reported a very bad smell in the bathroom with the toilet in on our second day. Maintenance did come and we communicated via Google translate and were told they would return that day to repair the silicone sealant around the shower and not to use the shower in that bathroom. They never returned and we spent the rest of our week using the shower over the bath in the other bathroom and avoiding using the toilet in our cottage due to the bad smell.
