This is really a "hidden gem" on the beautiful Danish island of Langeland. Nestled in the south-eastern part of the island it exudes the splendor and history which the island so richly offers it's visitors. The new owner has really spared no expense and made no compromise in the impressive restauration of this exquisite manor. It has excellent overnight accommodations, a superb restaurant and it even has it's own world class brewery with own labels and more. I could not more highly recommend this place!

The New Year Party 2022 was very good, good food, excellent wines and the orchestra (2 guys) kept the good spirit the whole evening, even guest were from kids to people in their 70'ies. Everybody had a good time. We did not sleep over, the place was fully booked, but we stayed close and the Boss drove us home late in the night, good service.

We were shocked to find that the whole place was a building site. It has just reopened but the refurbishment is nowhere near complete. We drove along a field to enter the back of the courtyard past a huge lorry and though a large cloud of dust. The nice receptionist/waitress did her best. Our bedroom had only a very thin net curtain so we were awake at 0430 when the sun came up. The builders outside started work at 0700. Breakfast was OK, but we didn't expect to be sharing the breakfast room with a large group of builders. The WiFi was very limited and only seemed to work in a small area around reception. Our check-out experience was truly appalling, with a disgracefully rude gentleman. The place shouldn't be open yet. We paid 2,400 DKK = £300 for this awful experience.

Dejligt sted med 1 overnatning kan varmt anbefales, værelset var vældig hyggeligt, desværre med udsigt mod nyt byggeri, men det bliver godt når det er færdigt.
Vi ankom Lørdag kl 14.15, blev godt modtaget i receptionen, fik nøgle og anvist værelset, som var meget hyggeligt og stille.
Der nlev afholdt 1 stort bryllup, men det var absolut ikke noget man mærkede.
Søndag morgen til morgenmad, blev man modtaget af meget venligt personale, 1 overdådigt morgenbord hvor der ikke manglede noget.
Så alt i alt 1 fantastisk ophold, vi kommer igen. Men næste gang bliver det med flere overnatninger.

Da der var sket en misforståelse med ********* og Broløkke . Var vi ikke registret da vi ville tjekke ind, men den fantastiske receptionist fik os opgraderet til et værelse med bad , uden beregning.
Til aftensmaden fik vi en fantastisk service af en yngre og ældre servitrice. Fin morgenmads service og lækkert anrettet.

Wir waren nicht Gast im Hotel sondern im Restaurant. Ehr zufällig haben wir einen Tag ein ganz wunderbares Lunch hier gegessen. Das war so super, dass wir für ein paar Tage später für abends einen Tisch reserviert haben. Das Abendmenü war in der Auswahl sehr überschaubar und verdammt teuer.... Egal, wir waren voll in der Erinnerung des super Lunch. Also, das Essen am Abend war ok, mehr jedoch nicht. Ambitionierte Hotel Küche mit Servicepersonal in Zeitlupe. Die Weine zum Menü waren wirklich gut und passend.
