My husband and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary with our dog Luna. The bed is comfortable, front room with a fireplace lovely, shower was large & the double temperature water heads were a neat feature . My favorite part was the hot tub on the balcony with mineral water in it. I used it nightly before bedtime. We loved the fenced dog park right across from our room where we let Luna play there every morning. The secret garden we went daily for snacks and wine. We enjoyed biking to Avila beach for brunch and coffee. We would definitely come back! Our favorite aspect of this resort was how walkable everything is from the spa to the beach, the secret garden, & the main restaurant. Only downside I’d say is the noise . From all over the resort you can hear cars from The busy fast road right in the heart of the resort. Other than that absolutely perfect.

We came to stay overnight for the hot springs when prices were higher due to Memorial Day weekend. Our hot spring water tap stopped working around 10pm, so we called room service. They sent someone who couldn’t fix it and said we had to wait until whenever maintenance came in the morning/afternoon. Our checkout was at 11am. No offers to change our room etc. So… we paid a lot for a regular room. What is the point of having 24hr customer service if they can’t troubleshoot problems? This isn’t the first time things broke down. Twice before there was no central heating or cooling when we came; front desk answered the call, but nothing was fixed. As a regular to this place, I must say their service is frustratingly useless. We always came for the hot springs; this may be the last straw.

Nice property, but disappointed with Rise & Shine King package. Aged hot tub without sulfur neutralizing oils that were extra charge, small bathroom with rusted shower curtain and old shower fixture. Very steep incline to room with limited parking. Profit-focused organization with good marketing and onsite customer interaction service.

This is a great place, we enjoy going there at the end of the year. Mineral hot tubs and pools, good rooms, relaxed atmosphere, walking distance to very nice beach town Avila Beach. Bicycle trails. Pismo Beach is also a couple of miles away. Exceptional, very attentive personnel, good restaurant. The only comment I have is "please make your bedrooms USB-friendly". I was lucky to take with me just in case power splitter plugs and USB adapters. All modern hotels provide USB outlets on night stands. Also, TVs in living rooms have HDMI inputs disabled. This is not cool, I believe some guests take streaming devices that they can hook up to TV. So, be more "tech savvy" so to speak. Otherwise, it is a great place and we look forward to go there again.

Sycamore Springs resort is the perfect place for a romantic getaway and has top notch customer service. The queen suite was amazing with a nice fireplace, large bathroom, and private tub on the back patio. My gf and I loved every minute of our stay here.

If you are susceptible to mosquitoes, this is not the place for you. There were multiple mosquitoes in the room, which made for a NOT relaxing stay. Given the price of the resort, one would think they would have better mosquito control measures. Otherwise, soaking in the mineral water is nice.

The setting is beautiful. Privacy perfect. If you choose the best setting, be prepared to walk up 9 flights of stairs! There are dressing room and bathrooms near by. We chose to soak "a natural" and undressed by the spa. I suggest you bring a towel and/or a robe as you will be wet. A shower cap saved my hair from frizzing. The hour was plenty of time. Senior rates made it more affordable. The sulphur smell was very mild.

Our suite was gorgeous and very private, we were under a beautiful canopy of trees by the creek. Hotel staff was wonderful and made our stay very pleasant. Hot tub was fantastic. There is so much to do and see and eat here, the grounds are beautiful! I can’t wait to come back with my pups…they are very dog friendly here ☺️.

My 2nd time here and I’ll come back again and again! Beyond beautiful surroundings everywhere, excellent service, amazingly fresh food and privacy galore! I love the private hot tubs, being able to get spa services, rent bikes and be entertained around the property night and day! Highly recommend for a girls trip, family trip or romance!
