Autun is a pleasant town along the Gran Cru route in Burgundy, an ideal base for a visit to the renowned wineries. We stayed two nights in this property, just a few minutes' drive from the center and with a large internal car park available. The hostellerie recalls the country hotels of the past, with the reception, the bar and a small lounge on the ground floor and the guest rooms on the first floor. The room assigned to us was large, as was the bathroom; the furnishings are rustic, as in the rest of the structure, and minimal but the cleanliness is excellent and the windows overlook the French countryside. The garden, shaded and with a small pond, is equipped with tables and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the coolness of the place. In summer it is also possible to dine outdoors: the menu offering is varied and particular and the service is attentive and courteous. The reception and management of the structure is carried out directly by the owner, who is very kind and helpful. Definitely an accommodation to recommend for a pleasant stay in Burgundy
