The location is perfect, located in the heart of the city centre, 1 mins walk to the nearest countdown/woolworth. You can find anything you need in the area, you name it, you will find it. It is best for traveller first leg in New Zealand. There is a big common area, You get to meet a lot of backpackers which you can exchange information. Highly recommended. The only short is that the water in the shower is too low, it is like spraying water on you.

Great location, average hostel. For two nights did the job of having a cheap place to stay.

Pros: the hostel is located in the city center. U can find a plenty of restaurants around u, only 2 mins walk to the grocery, skytowner & aa centre… Besides, the price of living is really friendly. Cons: to be honey, the bed linen is little bit dirty, the water pressure of showerhead does not perform well. The fridges have not enough space to storage stuffs for all customers.

Very good location near the Sky Tower, yet cheap! The kitchen was small, and the shared bathroom was a bit messy due to the large number of people using it, but it was just what I needed. I think it's good for those who value location and price.

Comfortable in only women room

The height of the bed was too low. I could also feel the shaking of the person above me. The receptionist was very courteous. I felt unsanitary in the room and everywhere. I felt that the customer base didn't suit me. It was good because it was close to Sky City.

The advantage is that the price is low and it is close to the airport bus and intercity bus stops. The staff are kind. It's not unsanitary, but it's not clean either. Youth hostel worth the price. The shower had hot water.

The environment is good, the location is very good, it is worth staying

It's close to the Sky Tower, so it's a great location if you want to stay in central Auckland! As for the facilities, the shower (I don't know if it's for women) is small... I don't think I can go in in the winter because it's too cold. Other than that, there are no particular problems. It helps that it's cheaper than other bumpers. Recommended if you want to keep costs down! However, considering the shower, I don't think I would stay overnight in the winter.
