The TV program are limited n difficult to set. The switching of channel for free program like TV news is troublesome, every movie viewing channels are chargeable at US$5 o S$8.
Response to supply water takes 30mins even after 2 reminders calls to reception.
Room without window unit are very stuffy n has no airflow ventilation nor Aircon.
After one night, I decided to change to another room with window n had to pay additional S$40 or 200 Rmp per night. Similarly the room has no Aircon even though temp outside was between 26 to 29 deg C. Toilet is small n cramp with only tooth brush n comb provided. Hair blower was not working n room floor hardly mop or clean, it smell of hongkong foot.
The shower area will wet the entire toilet floor after use n hence cause the dressing or closet floor area to become slippery. There are no shaving kit or shower cap provided. No laundry services n basic facilities like gym workout are available
I will not recommend this hotel unless u want a convenient location. Room rates are overprice n lacks quality of services n responses from staff for basic top up water supply. Overall I would rate the hotel standard of that 3-Star or motel that is below average for it's S$120 or S$160 price.

Bingzi manager was very king and has good service mind. She also helped us booked a ticket for a museum and give a lot of information about the city. We will booked the mercure hotel for our next trip to china for sure.

Really great hotel, excellent location right next to the Bell Tower. Amazing service: staff were extremely helpful, and used translation apps when their English failed them, so language wasn’t an issue. We got waters, a fruit plate and bookmarks on check out, and the staff were helpful in our other enquiries. We were able to check in early, and they offered help with the Terra-cotta warriors also.
It didn’t show up on Apple Maps for us - however we entered the address from Trip and that led us and the taxi there! There is another “Grand Mercure” about a 30minute walk away, so worth noting that when you type Mercure into maps it goes to that. But the location is amazing- close to the main central junction with the Bell Tower, 5 minutes from the Muslim Quarter, and various takeaways/bakeries/convenience stores right underneath the hotel.

Really nice hotel in a great location.
The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the amenities you might need. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and always have a smile on their faces.
Even the cleaning ladies were so excited to talk to us although my parents couldn’t speak Chinese.
Breakfast was varied although a bit cold, but we went there at the end of service, so not surprising.
Convenient central location, making it easy to go to the different sights, the night market is right around the corner.
The free washing machine and dryer were very useful as well towards the end of our trip.

The location of the hotel is very good, there is a McDonald just downstairs. Train is 10m away. Very near amenities and can see the bell tower. Walk away frm. Muslim street
The staff are very helpful too. No tipping is required too. The manager bing bing, help with booking of my Chengdu and Chong Qing mercury bookings.
There is washing facilities too, very convenient and one of my zip spoilt and the staff help me to fix it for free

We spend a wonderful stay at Mercure hotel bell tower branch. The location of the hotel is fantastic, you walk and explore the city center, nearby the bell tower, behind the hotel you can enjoy the muslim street, food and the authentic style of Xi'an. The night market is in front of the hotel so that you can get easily yummy snacks in the evening. The rooms are spacious, modern, toilet with automatic water jet. The hygiene is awesome as the room is cleaned everyday and towels changed as well. You can enjoy the breakfast with plenty variety of western and Chinese cuisine. They treat customers with a plate of fruits also twice during our stay. They offer free laundry self-service advanced with drying also. After 5 nights in this hotel, I highly recommend it for everyone coming to Xian and want to fully enjoyed and relaxed.
