The hotel's sanitary facilities are really impeccable. The designer hotel has very tasteful furniture and furnishings. The location is very convenient. You can walk to the Acropolis. The terrace is beautiful and very comfortable.
The only thing I want to say is that the price of this room fluctuates too much. I booked it two weeks in advance for 2,900/night because I saw that there was only one room left. When I got there, it turned out to be 2,100/night. Although it was not much different, I'm really confused
I originally wanted to stay for four nights, but for the last two nights there were only suites left, so I changed to a hotel. It turned out that it was available for booking on the same day, and it was also 2100/night.
ps: I compared prices and rooms with Ctrip mona official website and ***********, but they didn’t show me the available rooms... I hope the hotel’s reservation system can be improved a little bit in the future...

Pros: -Friendly service. -Amazing breakfast included. -Gorgeous design, romantic, appreciate the concept behind what they’re doing. -Rooftop bar with view of the acropolis. -Location walking distance to acropolis. Cons: -Paper thin walls!! Noisy! We were placed in room 1 which is right above the “reception” area. It was loud all night to the point where I had to contact reception at 3am due to noisy guests/employees in the lobby that we could clearly hear from our room and which woke me up from sleep. Around 6am again, the noise started as guests started flopping their shoes down the stairs, speaking loudly, and slamming doors. -Poor air conditioning (and none in the shared spaces). -Bath tub drain did not work so I had to shower which left a pool of water all over the floor (no curtain). I booked this place because of the large bathtub. -Location though safe, is located in a graffiti ridden area that reeks of urine.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Athens, walking distance to everywhere, funky rooms, wonderful welcome and service. Just really great experience for the start of our honeymoon. The standalone bath and great art was amazing. We walked everywhere for dinner drinks and locality to tourist sites

Mona Hotel is located just near Monasteraki Station, in a reasonably quiet part of the area, but close enough to the local action. The rooms are querki cool, with super comfortable beds and great bathing products. The breakfast is highly recommended, and the roof top bar is excellent for a nightcap. We will stay here when next in Athens.

It's stylish, breakfast is actually inventive and great, reception feels a bit improvised yet friendly but most importantly: Read the fine print when booking. Our room came with an open toilet which is hilariously sold to you as "sensual". This information is listed as an "amenity" Bathroom and toilet are separated by just partial curtains that we could never quite close all the way, so if you stand or sit in the impractical shower the neighbors across the narrow street may just be part of that "sensuality". Interesting for some, but not what I expected at this price point.

I hired a black car to pick up someone and it never showed up nor we got a heads up of it being canceled or something. This ended up in the person having to take a taxi which was unsafe. I confirmed the transfer several times and provided clear itineraries. Such a bad experience.

I was travelling solo on a work trip and this was the perfect treat for a very nice room in Athens. I loved the neighborhood as well, near everything you would need. Gorgeous/comfortable room and every single detail was very carefully curated.

Rude welcome from the start ! We are lifestyle journalists. We arrived to the hotel on a scorching hot day to take a look at the lobby and to ask a few questions for our clients. The man would not even offer for us to sit on the sofa and was very abrupt by saying, “we are very busy!” Despite the place being empty. Apparently we should have made an appointment. Well we did not. But our observation did not require an appointment. The whole thing would have taken no more than 15 minutes if he was more polite. It was so obvious that he tried to get rid of us in a very rude way ! - not the usual Greek hospitality. This is not the place to be recommended for people who appreciate manners and courtesy.
