THE HOTEL IS LOCATED IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION IN KARAISKAKI SQUARE, CLOSE TO TRANSPORTATION (METRO, BUS, TAXI). VERY NEAR THE AREA OF PSYRI, MONASTIRAKI, CENTER. REGARDING SERVICE: negatively 1. ORIGINALLY, WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM WITH A SIDE VIEW OF THE ACROPOLIS. AFTER I NOTICED THEM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD FIX IT BY THE AFTERNOON, THIS WAS ONLY AFTER MY REPEATED CALLS TO THE RECEPTION. THE NEW ROOM WAS WITH AN EXCELLENT VIEW OF THE ACROPOLIS OF ATHENS - JUST AS I PAID FOR. 2. THE FIRST ROOM WE GOT HAD A ”BLOWN” BATHROOM DOOR WHICH WOULD NOT CLOSE. 3. THE CLEANLINESS OF THE FLOOR WAS UNACCEPTABLE, WITH A LOT OF FLUFF, WHICH WASN'T PICKED UP ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DAYS. POSITIVE 1. THE DIRECT SERVICE OF THE RECEPTION TO THE ROOM QUESTION THAT ARISED IN THE AFTERNOON. 2. THE FRIENDLY SERVICE OF ALL THE STAFF AT BREAKFAST 3. LARGE VARIETY OF BREAKFAST FIXTURES 4. I would highly recommend Athens Key Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. It is within easy walking distance to the Plaka, so there are plenty of restaurants and shopping. It was a little longer walk to the Acropolis, but we did walk it and enjoyed the scenery along the way. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop area for breakfast, where they also serve cocktails throughout the day and evening. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the Acropolis, especially at night. There were many breakfast choices and the food was very good. All of the staff were courteous and helpful, especially the front desk staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms that have awesome rain showerheads.

The hotel is located in the central location of the city (Acropolis, Monastery, Placca, Hermu, etc. in 15-20 minutes walk). The room and all the rest of the rooms were careful and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. The room (four-bedroom) was very comfortable, two-size, with beautiful thematic paintings on the walls. Free in the refrigerator water, drinks, snacks, fruit and sweets (packed). In addition, there is a coffee maker with coffee and tea capsules (packs) renewed daily. The breakfast was good - various eggs, sausages, bean, sweets, yoghurt, malnutrition and cheese (but it could be richer) and was offered for free at breakfast and any coffee you wanted. There is a closed parking near the hotel which has an extra charge of €9/day. Overall it was a very nice stay and we will definitely prefer this hotel again on our next visit!

Booked two rooms for a three day stay and both rooms were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom in my room was smaller than my daughters but for me it was fine. Small bath but I managed to use it. The staff are great and breakfast was a good start to the day ahead. Nice coffee. Our flight back to the uk was cancelled due to air traffic control going on strike and the hotel let us stay another night without any fuss even letting us stay in the same rooms. All in all I have no regrets booking this hotel and for the price it’s a great choice. Reception booked our taxi to the airport and it was a fixed price of 40 euros.

That is 4 stops from Syntagma and 5 from Acropolis - 24-hour open reception, very comfortable in case of air delays. We arrived at 2 p.m. in the hotel and checked in without problems - Beautiful roof terrace x continental breakfast with some Greek specialities. Possibility to consume inside (air conditioned) or outside on the adjacent balcony - Hotel manager gentle. We moved on the booking (when we booked we chose the non-refundable) without any penalty x come to meet us since we had cancelled the plane and we had to postpone the departure for weeks

Excellent experience: balcony, room cleaned regularly, reception staff polite (Stefan is really friendly and gives good advice about Athens). This is a great hotel for mid- budget in Athens, right opposite Larissa train station which gets you to syntagma & acropolis in 15 mins. Also the bathrooms are fine - clean & hot showers. Saw people moaning about them in reviews unnecessarily- so what they look a bit retro, for the price this place is brilliant! Room is lovely and air con works a treat. Will definitely stay here again 👍

The location is great, just 100m from a main station and metro at Larrissa which is good for the main city sites or airport links, plus has a good taxi rank too. We walked to the acropolis. It's about 30min from Piraeus harbour. The staff were all very friendly even though we arrived at 4am, and always eager to help. We stayed here twice and would again.

My room was clean, my bed was comfortable. I have TV and wifi. I have a refrigerator, but this time the breakfast came a little weak. Some things have been reduced. I'll probably take breakfast next. It's an ideal hotel for short stay.
