One of the Best restaurants ever! Authentic, charming, and had great hospitality. If you get lucky you'll have Vito as a waiter. He'll make sure your dining experience is nothing but grace. He knows the menu like the back of his hand, And can recommend dishes that are simply grand. He's patient and helpful, and always polite, And makes sure that everything is just right. Vito is quick on his feet and never misses a beat, And always has time for a friendly greet. GO THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! THE BEST

Very clean, simple room. Even though it was small it was very comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no space to stop and check in. I had to park very far away and walk there.
Overall excellent value for the price and a great location!

This hotel ticked all the boxes - it was affordable, in a convenient location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good, and the restaurant grounds are spacious with a garden area that is quite charming.
Rooms are a bit on the small side but that was expected and typical of smaller European hotels in general so no issues.
Bonus points - they accommodated two motorcycles parked in a courtyard on the hotel property at no additional charge, which was greatly appreciated. Hotel staff were all friendly and courteous, even when I pulled the "dumb foreigner" and asked for a power converter (.CH is not the same as some of the adjacent countries like France, FYSA). They were apologetic and tried to find one even though it was clearly my lack of prior planning and homework that was to blame.
It's an easy walk into town and the lake front boardwalk, and the sunset behind the hills on a clear night was beautiful. So many treasures in the Alps, this hotel and Ascona are some of them.

The breakfast on ********* is marked as free but it is not.
For 19.- per day it is always available.
Little parking available but there is some blue zone and a paid car park in front.
Quality restaurant menu with delicious dishes (I recommend the charcoal pizza).

Very well located, you can reach the promenade in about 10 minutes on foot. The facilities are functional. The restaurant is very good and the service is very friendly.

Very good location, very friendly and courteous staff. The owners own several "restaurants" in Ascona, a reservation including a 10% discount for dinner can be made directly at reception. The rooms look quite newer and "fresher" in the photos than they are in reality. The breakfast buffet is a bit too meager for the price of just under CHF 15.00 per person. The croissants and rolls were quite dry, not good quality, and there was generally not a large selection at the buffet. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio was therefore not quite right.

Super good food and very friendly staff, the hotel room was also good, small, clean but everything you need. Really recommended. Not far, about 5 minutes to the lake and the promenade in Ascona. I would stay and eat there again anytime.

Family birthday dinner for our daughter's birthday. Simple but well-kept environment, friendly and competent staff. Right waiting times. We took the chateaubriand, it was excellent and plentiful, the price was right. Also honest in the advice not to take large starters given the abundance of the main course. The desserts are delicious and beautiful. The Carta pizza is also excellent with original proposals. We will definitely be back and I absolutely recommend it
