Wonderful stay, fantastic staff and a fantastic view. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommended. Room directly facing the lake with 2 seats and a small table. Free shopping.

At first we were unsure whether we should book the Hotel Tobler or the B&B Toblerina next door. Luckily we decided on the hotel. In addition to the great view, it offers included services such as bike rental, shuttle service and Roman baths. We were unable to use the pool, which is open to guests of both guesthouses, because of the cool temperatures. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired: freshly cut fruit, various types of bread, cakes, regional cheese, salmon, prosecco. Coffee and tea are served. Very good and friendly service. Unfortunately the bistro is only open until 5.30 p.m., which is why we went out to eat (we got good tips from reception). The walk to the recommended restaurants was short and therefore not a problem. I can only recommend the hotel.

Everything is just right in this beautiful hotel above Ascona. Friendly welcome, tastefully furnished rooms, lovely pool, free bicycles and a plentiful breakfast buffet. Service is professional and very friendly. Price/performance ratio is right. Plenty of free parking available. A walk to the lake is very doable and not too far. The walk to Losone behind the hotel to the Grotto Ticino, for example, is also easy. All in all a pleasure, we will be back.
