We went to stay and it was amazing. I could not thank the owners and staff enough for going above and beyond and making the stay 5*. I felt at home as being Swiss myself and the room was beautiful and immaculate. With the food and the adjoining restaurant on the Lago it was perfect with all dietary needs met and no communication barrier.

Old and unrenovated hotel, with slightly unfriendly staff (at the reception).
The room was nice with an enchanting view of the lake. The walls were very thin and so we heard everything from the next room.
There was no mini bar in the room.

Superbe hôtel rustique , vue direct sur le lac , avec une terrasse panoramique et une petite terrasse interieure,la chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Rien à redire sur le personnel absolument charmant et serviable . Plein de restaurants à proximité pas besoin d'utiliser sa voiture (parking de l'hôtel) et utilisation des transports tessinois. Deux petits bémols c'est la piscine qui est quand même à 10 minutes à pied sous un soleil de plomb! Et il serait bien de mentionné qu'à partir d'une certaine heure il n'y a plus de room service! Nous le conseillons vivement !

Perfekte Lage direkt an der Seepromenade von Ascona. Sehr freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer war gross mit einem sehr modernen und grosszügigen Bad. Das Bett war bequem, es waren jedoch zwei zusammengeschobene Betten, was für uns etwas ungünstig war, weil unser Junior (1 Jahr alt) zwischen uns schläft. Wir haben trotzdem alle drei himmlisch geschlafen in dem bequemen Bett. Das Frühstück fanden wir ok, gute Auswahl und hohe Qualität der angebotenen Speisen. Der Preis ist happig, aber das ist Ascona....
