It’s good for staying over for a night to catch another flight as the hotel is near IST airports. Staffs there are nice and helpful.

The managers are kind and courteous. However the hotel doesn’t have a shuttle . The hotel has one menu for all meals . If you’re looking luxury this isn’t it . It’s good for a layover , it’s near the airport .

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. The location is ideal, not far from Istanbul New Airport. If you want sights, go the other way, there is only peace, the sea, and planes taking off. The rooms all have balconies overlooking the sea, the beach is cleaned every morning and is generally clean. The menu is not large, but quite varied, and the portions are large. Someone complained in the reviews about being ripped off - this is a lie. Everything has a fixed price. The staff is just super. They will solve all your problems. They will change money, help with calling a taxi...Very nice people. I will definitely return to this hotel again. Cobwebs in the corners are nothing compared to everything else. The food from the menu is delicious, the spices are delicious, the bread is just fabulous.

Very good hotel and friendly staff. Incredibly delicious food, prepared very quickly. Clean and tidy rooms, the only thing is it's a little cold inside in winter, but there is air conditioning with warm air and it helps to heat the room. Definitely, if I have the opportunity, I will stay at this hotel again and recommend to my friends!😊

Very good, excellent service, clean, convenient, comfortable and peaceful, beautiful view, hotel owner is good. I had a problem here the hotel owner helped me fully.

В получасе езды на такси от аэропорта (10-20$), всё старенькое, обшарпанное, но в номере есть все необходимое, достаточно чисто. Работает кухня, накормили вкусно. Можно искупаться в море, песчаный пляж, самолеты пролетают над головой буквально каждую минуту. Сотрудники отеля стараются, очень любезные, вызвали такси рано утром.

I was touched inappropriately without my consent by a staff member. I demand a full refund.

Stayed in the hotel for two days(layover between flights). Personnel doesn't speak english(when they don't want to deal with you). Booked the hotel at ********** and total amount was 110 usd. My card didn't go through so I picked pay at the hotel. when was checking out was charged 220 usd(not including food which was additional, don't even want to talk about it as quality was way bellow average ). I couldn't get reasonable explanation but I had to pay as I was with kids and late for the plane. They accepted cash only. I don't speak Turkish that was my problem. Also no infrastructure, nothing to do accept go to the beach. I would never come back to this Airport Kumsal Otel.

My flight was canceled so i needed a place to stay for at least 1 or 2 nights. Having already stayed the La Quinta by Wyndham in Istanbul for 2 nights, i wanted different scenery and relative close vicinity to the airport. I decided to check this spot out. I took a cab to Karaburun and the drive there was absolutely charming. The countryside scenery was picturesque with small country roads, farm animals and pretty flowers. The restaurant part of the hotel was open air and it was a very, very hot day. The first room i was given had a beach front balcony view which was amazing but the on shore breeze kept rattling the front door, sleeping in that room would be a problem so they offered me a different room which turned out to be equally as good if not better. I kept the balcony door open but also used the ac which was fine. The hotel has a restaurant with about 2 dozen meals to choose from ranging from $10-$20 plates of traditional meals. There is a small local market next door for any snacks or additional beverages you may desire. The beaches were fairly clean with a few gentle and playful dogs roaming free. The area is basically a small and quiet beachfront property with as local feel to it. Charming and hospitable.

I liked the property being small family run, compact and very friendly. What you pay for what you get is great. When you pay about £50 a night for a room you dont expect much. I got a very clean room , with balcony facing the sea, compact shower/toilet room with wash basin, also including some shampoo bottles. Hair dryer, kettle and tea and coffee facilities in room. Very comftable memory foam mattress, good pillows and quilt. Furniture on balcony (plastic) 2 x chairs and a small table. Breakfast was extra, either toasted cheese toastie, or a traditional Turkish breakfast platter-tea or coffee or what ever else you wanted to drink. Dinner was also available from about 10 different meals. I sampled 2 meals both very nice. Yet again very inexpensive. They accept cash or credit/debit cards. Limited parking at hotel but plenty availabilty on the road opposite which was not a problem.

very friendly owner-family, very helpfull, usefull information, car park directly at the hotel, just at the beach, supermarket nearby, tasty breakfast, very flexible, definitelly worth a stay :-) we liked it

The location was good right on the Black Sea

We passed our first night in turkey in this hotel.. we drunk some beers and we ate the dinner in the hotel.. ( the menu doesn’t have prices ) and at the end the bill was more for than 4000 liras..!!.. we hadn’t realized the extremely high prices for the food and beers until the day after when we know the really prices of turkey.. even for a Pepsi this guy asked 50 liras It was a really bad experience… we stayed 10 days in turkey and that was the highest bill that we paid… even after eat in luxury restaurants with bottles of wine. I don’t recommend this place.. please be careful about this kind of persons in turkey
