Just come back from a lovely week in hotel globles, overall it was a lovely stay with friendly staff, great entertainment, okay food and clean environment. A downside to this hotel is the ‘all inclusive ‘ this was not the case. Only a few cocktails were allocated in the all inclusive section and the remainder you had to pay for. This is deceiving- don’t advertise as an all inclusive when not all drinks are included. Food choices were limited - there should be a small snack bar by the pool which would be beneficial rather than charging customers high prices for crisps / chocolate at the pool bar. Toilets near reception, only one tap was working & only one toilet was available so a queue to use the toilet was not ideal especially when it was roughly 10/15 min wait. We were unable to use our room toilet as we had already checked out at this point. The animation team were amazing, big shout out to Violetta (from Manchester) and Mar! who made the whole experience an amazing experience and holiday. Would always ensure all children and adults were involved in activities! These entertainers were amazing!

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff are great. The issue is disabled access in the area around the hotel. Drop kerbs are few and far between and are often obstructed by parked cars. At one point I had to carry the wife’s mobility scooter onto the road so she could get past a car half parked on the pavement. Beach access it pretty limited too. Great little holiday if both your legs work properly, but if you have any issues, book elsewhere

Just got back today. We had the best time. Hotel clean, staff very helpful. The entertainment staff were amazing. They work long hours and tirelessly. They greet all the guests by name and they are constantly on the go and smiling. My children joined in all the activities and so did we. The evening entertainment is brilliant. Would definitely go again.

Agree with most of the reviews. We had an excellent holiday and this hotel did not disappoint. The complex was very clean and staff can be seen tirelessly cleaning throughout the day. We stayed in the main hotel on the 2nd floor. The room was small but big enough for the three of us. The balcony was a bit cramped though but very private. (We faced the car park). The beds were firm but comfortable. They had mattress toppers so had obviously tried to address the previous comments about 'hard beds'. The only gumble about the rooms was that there were no drawers for belongings. They had bedside cubes that lit up (which were very cool - but not very practical!) The entertainment team also work very hard. Activities are organised throughout the day such as water polo, aqua gym and boules and the staff encourage people to get involved. At 11, my son felt he was 'too old' for the kids club and showed no interest in going but would happily get involved with some of the activities organised by the entertainment team. Most of the time, he was quite happy playing in the pool. It was good that the organised activities took place in a different pool. The splash pool was a little young for my son but he still had a good few hours on the slides. The best thing about this hotel was the included water park. It is a 5 minute walk away and a lovely place to spend a few hours or even a whole day! Towards the end of our holiday the hotel got really busy (due to it being the school holiday), with everybody reserving sunbeds really early and the pool area being a bit crammed so we spent the last 3 days of our holiday at the waterpark which we found much more spacious and relaxing! It's only a short walk to come back for lunch or we took advantage of the all inclusive at the park and ate there. The slides are good fun although one of the four (The yellow one), was out of action for most of our stay which was a disappoin**ent as it was my son's favourite. The surrounding area is fairly quiet. A mixture of residential (some very nice private villas) and the usual bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. There are 2 decent supermarkets within walking distance. It does look a bit rundown like it has seen better days but imagine that covid/cost of living has impacted here too! We visited 3 nearby beaches /coves during our stay. Cala en forcat was about a 10 minute walk away via some steps. This was very nice for swimming and snorkelling - lots of different fish to see. Can access via the little beach or the steps (or jump in if you are brave!) Calan Blanes is about a 20 minute walk away (or a short bus ride). It is a more traditional sandy beach cove with sunbeds, bar, a pedalo. This would suit younger children as it is gently shelving but the sea was not very clean on our visit. (lots of bits of plastic had washed up). Our favourite cove was Cala en Brut. This can be accessed by turning right out of the hotel (walk for a few minutes) and there is a little path on the left with

We stayed here for 10 nights from the 3rd of July. Family of 5 Booked a two bed apar**ent, there was plenty of space for us. Didn’t have the Cot in the room we pre booked, however one quick visit to reception and two very helpful staff members were quickly delivering and setting up the bed for us. Probably the most noticeable thing at the hotel is the staff work very hard, from the bar staff to the cleaners and maintenance teams. Very impressive. Normal all inclusive affair, a bit busy and a lot of hustle to get your food. Lots of choices, only negative I would say is the kids area is limited on choices. Definitely needs improvement or not have the area at all. Our kids preferred the main area to pick up pasta/chips/salads etc If you fancy a change there is a nice couple of restaurants and bars down the road. And only a 10-15min walk to the sea/coves. I would definitely recommend the hotel for young families, kids pools are great and bonus use of water park across the road. Overall we had a lovely holiday, the kids especially. Thank you Los Delfines Hotel

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, 3 star would be a perfect description. Good for families with young children. Stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 10 and 16 year old) in an apar**ent, with one bedroom and sofa bed in lounge. Very small, but clean with everything needed for a self catering holiday. We were so pleased not to be eating at the hotel, at meal times it looked very chaotic with queues going out of the door. So can’t comment on the food. We ate out every night, Then went back to the hotel later in the evening but found you had to queue a long time to get a drink,. We did some grocery shopping from the local supermarket down the road, for breakfast and some lunch items, loads of choice and reasonably priced. The drinks at the hotel were all fine, served in plastic cups which is acceptable during the day, but would’ve been nice to have a glass in the evening. The pina coladas were excellent! We bought some nice wine from the supermarket and kept in our fridge in the room! The water park was great, could always get a sun bed at any time. The restaurant there served beautiful salads and snacks at lunchtimes. My kids loved the arcade there too. Around the main pool was so busy, plenty of sun beds but no where to put them, everyone squeezed in like sardines! The pool looked filthy with brown scum around the edges, so we only had a couple of days there, we mainly went to the water park or beach. The staff are all pleasant and work hard. The gym was great, we managed to get an early morning slot most days. You have to book in the day before. The location of the hotel is good, lots of nice restaurants to walk to. And the cove and beach are lovely, only small but great for snorkelling. If you’re looking for a large beach with lots of water sports this is not for you! All in all we had a nice stay , it gave us a good base to explore Menorca and try out some excursions but wouldn’t return.

Can't fault this hotel. We had a fantastic poolside room which was cleaned daily. The AI option was good, plenty of variety and drinks available throughout the day. Great slides for the children and plenty going on to keep them entertained. Only gripe was the group of teens who ran havoc in and around the pool late at night while I assume the parents were relaxing at the bar. Hotel security dealt with it well. Thank you for the bottle of bubbly kindly left in our room on my birthday! Highly recommend this hotel

First family holiday post covid with a 13 year old and a new addition of a 18 month old baby. We all had a wonderful time and would go back here. The hotel was a smaller size complex so not far to walk to get anywhere you needed to go. The choice of pools were great with an awesome kids slide section in the middle. All the rooms, pools, bars and restaurant were really clean and I felt comfortable in all. The water park over the road included in the all inclusive was great with a selection of pools and different levels of slides that the kids enjoyed. The food at this park is also really good and high quality with the Coca Cola being original cola unlike the hotel like it states The food in the hotel was great i alway had a plate full of food along with deserts/ ice creams (that are available all day for the kids). My one suggestion was there could be a little better option of food for kids mainly having all kids go to staple meal of chicken nuggets or pizza. That would have been the only thing I think they needed to add. Drinks were great I really enjoyed the rum and coke. But tired the other drinks as part of the all inclusive. Only a few cocktails included (blue lagoon, tequila sunrise and vodka sun) but were all really nice. The bar staff were fast and didn’t stop all day which meant there was never really a big queue. The local area is all in walking distance with different bars around. Not a majorly busy area but entertainment at jimmy hills was a great experience and they have entertainment on daily. The bars closed to the hotel an Irish bar a cocktail bar next door were great location. Around €7.50 a cocktail which with the current exchange rate works out pretty expensive when you’re abroad but I enjoyed the drinks so we’re happy to pay. The only really reason it’s dropped to a 4 star is the entertainment. There were 1 night that was a quiz that was just a normal quiz nothing special. The next night was a quiz with a few on stage. It was short entertainment that once ended the music went off and wasn’t winding down and this was before 11 every night. There was one or 2 entertainment that was decent but overall I was really disappointed by it. The youngest daughter did love the kids disco but there wasn’t really too much to it. Another great thing not to miss are the two coves local to the hotel. Beautiful locations that look amazing and you can catch some really nice pictures there and get a dip in the sea We did venture to the local town which a a short bud trip that has air con. We went on days that didn’t have the markets and there wasn’t really much going on but was a nice change to see the local town I would return to the hotel as we did enjoyed our stay and the area especially if you are looking for a more chilled holiday

The hotel was spotless and the reception staff were helpful. The evening/lunchtime food was a bit too repetitive (they really liked to cook pork in all sorts of ways as this was on the menu most days!!!) and unfortunately as it was buffet style a lot of the time the food was either tepid or cold. We would also have liked to have seen more chicken (off-the-bone) options. On two of the evenings, we had to eat out as there was nothing on the menu that we liked except chips or roast potatoes. But the breakfasts were varied and very tasty. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, especially Noel. The only person who was not at all interactive or friendly was Pedro. The bar staff (Mar, Anderson, Joan and Ricky were all lovely. The entertainment team which consisted of Mar, Angie and Violetta were great. We had lots of fun playing games throughout the day/evening and trying to win diplomas (seems my husband is very competitive!!) There is a small pool with slide and water bucket for the children and then there are two other pools. There is also a washing/drying facility at a cost of 3 euros for each. The water park, (included in all-inclusive holidays) which is literally across the road was great too. We booked (through the TUI agent) to go on a Catamaran excursion. It cost us 74 euros each but it was very disappointing as we were led to believe that we would be going onto a beach for 2 hours, when in fact we were just moored in the ocean looking at a beach. You could get off and swim while there but as my husband is not a strong swimmer we opted to stay on the catamaran. And to top things off 2 of the people got stung by jellyfish!! It was very disappointing and we definitely would not recommend this excursion. We also hired some electric motorbikes from Thomas who was nice and friendly. Check out his Instagram page drive_me_menorca. They were absolutely well worth the money. 39 euros for 6 hours of hire. They are a fab way to get around the island and check out the beaches. We also met some fantastic people including Joyce & George, Rach & Lee, and Sarah and Dominic. All in all, we had a lovely holiday and we would definitely recommend Hotel Globales Los Delfines for both adults and children.
