DoubleTree by Hilton Porto Alegre

Check in was very confusing, the hotel did not have information about the reservation or the payment we had already made and wanted to charge us again. Until the time of check out, they had not received information from Trip about the advance payment we had made. I had brought a printed copy of the reservation as well as the confirmation. Awkward situation. I certainly won't book through Trip.com anymore to avoid going through this Situation again.

We stayed just at the end of the week that Porto Alegre declared a public calamity. We would only like to thank the hotel staff for all their attention and care towards our guests. Always attentive and ready to help us with whatever we needed. The location of the hotel is wonderful, there is a shopping mall next to it, with restaurants, a market, and children's toys. We were unable to enjoy it due to the circumstances. On a future occasion we will stay at this hotel again.

The accommodation was managed by our partners. It seems to me to be a very good quality hotel, but far from the center and only notable for the view of the lagoon and the shopping center. We arrived very late from the airport and there was nothing open, so the first day we used the hotel's vending. The reception is a little slow in serving us and with little information. Check-in went however well. The rooms are spacious and very bright, with good thermal insulation and poor acoustic insulation, which influences sleep. The comfortable beds. The bathroom was fine, simply, without many pretensions. The wifi works very poorly, with permanent connection problems. Breakfast is buffet style, very complete, with allergen products, which is appreciated in my case.

New hotel, beautiful structure and very spacious and comfortable room. The bed is a spectacle of comfort!! A caveat for the bathroom, which really doesn't have privacy and is quite small, but the shower is great! The room is well equipped, has a table with chair, sofa and even an ironing board and iron. We stayed in a suite with a view of the Guaíba River, it is beautiful and I recommend it! The breakfast is wonderful, it has gluten-free and lactose-free options! At noon we went for lunch at the hotel restaurant and the dish we ordered was delicious, very well served! It has a swimming pool in front of the guaíba that allows you to watch the sunset, it's worth checking out!! There is a shopping mall attached to the hotel, also Leroy Merlin. Across the avenue there is also the Barra shopping mall with many shopping and dining options. The hotel is located close to the BeiroRio stadium as well. The only drawback of the hotel is the price of parking, which is very expensive, 90.00 per day!

Super comfortable and quiet apar**ents, fantastic breakfast and above-average cuisine in the region. The social areas of the hotel are very welcoming and also have a fabulous panoramic view that is worth having this experience, accompanied by a unique gastronomy signed by the Chef who brings contemporary cuisine to the hotel. I loved having this memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for staying in Porto Alegre.

A good hotel with unprofessional service. Beautiful pool and gym, but they do not offer massage therapy services. Check in takes a long time and the restaurant staff doesn't know the dishes they serve. The suite's bathroom has no privacy, very small and poorly planned. I really missed having a bedside table. The suite I stayed in has a very large balcony, but with a large wall that hides the view of the river.

Wonderful location, beautiful view, very good room and breakfast! Attentive service! Several restaurants below the hotel, shopping mall and also a supermarket. It has a beautiful place to walk along the Guaíba riverfront, and lots of toys for children…
