The building type is simple style and the room area is small. However, the in-store hot springs, saunas, cold pools, and massage chairs are all things that can greatly enhance the guest experience. The attentiveness of the staff is another reason why I look forward to returning. Finally, I want to mention the food. I think it is at the ceiling level. Whether it's the quality of the food, the ritual of the meal, or the thoughtful attitude of the service staff, dining becomes a pleasure. It's really a good vacation spot.

The room is small, especially the bathroom, making it difficult to turn around. But the service and catering are very good, overall I think it's good.

Dinner was very delicious. Unfortunately, the hot spring water is not hot enough. The waiters are polite and friendly.

This hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha

Although it is in the mountains, the wooden structure has a sense of age and the building is quiet and peaceful. Every dish at dinner is very exquisite and luxurious. When you walk out of the restaurant, the dark maple trees are rustling and the stars in the sky are shining like a paradise.

The property is located outside the city if you are looking for nature and a quiet spot. Running and walking from the hotel was fantastic.

Located off the mountain road into a forest, it is a hotel with western style building. We arrived a bit late at before 5 o’clock. Check in was smooth. The hotel prepared an English version information sheet for the English speaking guests. We have a deluxe room facing the forest, and it is kind of a suite, with bedroom and living room area separated. There is a small balcony where when weather is good one can enjoy the good scenery. There are two air conditioners in both sides of the room which provide both heat and cool. Other room amenities are provided such as bottle water and coffee. There is no elevator in the hotel so you may have to carry the big bag up or down the steps. Onsen is located on the lowest floor. The outdoor onsen is very good, overlooking the forest. But it seems that the onsen is visible form the parking lot. There is a rest area with massage loungers outside the onsen. The dinner and breakfast are served in two separate restaurants. The dinner we enjoyed gave us a pleasant surprise, the food quality and taste are both very good. Breakfast was buffet style with good quality of food.

This is a chic hotel located in the Hakkoda mountains. I felt the hospitality of the staff, including the front desk. I chose a maisonette-type twin room, and it had a luxurious feel and was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner used a humidifier to keep the room comfortable even though it tends to get dry, and there was also an air purifier. There was an extra bed on the second floor up the stairs, a table, a sofa, and a big screen TV, so it was stylish and nice. There is a coffee machine in the room, and you can enjoy two types of coffee and green tea. There was also 500ml bottled water. In addition to toothbrush sets, cotton/cotton swab sets, and shavers, we also have body towels and hair turbans, which is a great feature. You can go to the natural hot springs on the 1st ba*****t floor by putting bath towels in a bag from your room and wearing indoor clothes like jinbei. The fabric is a little thick, so you may feel hot after taking a bath. The water inside was hot, and the outdoor bath was lukewarm and comfortable. There is a hair dryer in the changing room so you can dry your hair, and there is also a vending machine and water dispenser at the entrance for your convenience. There is also a massage chair and a small training room (bouldering, machines, etc.) on the same floor, so you can do some light exercise. We had a very delicious and luxurious dinner (course) in the dining room. Even though they were busy, the staff served us in a very pleasant manner. The pajamas are a one-piece type, so since I don't sleep well, I brought leggings. We had a buffet style breakfast with a wide variety of choices in the banquet room. It was the most luxurious breakfast I've ever had. The room and food were very good. It's surrounded by nature, so it's very quiet, and if the weather is nice, the stars are beautiful. Anyway, it was a very nice hotel and the service was excellent.

We shared a toilet in a Japanese-style room. Since I usually live in a chair or bed, I was in a position that I don't normally use, but it was a good exercise. The landlady was kind and nice.

I went to Sukayu in the heavy snow and stayed at Hotel Jogakura. I had been interested in this hotel before when I was passing by, so I stayed at it this time and was completely satisfied. The room has the style of a small mountain hut, with all the necessary amenities and equipment. It was nice to have a humidifier available. The hot springs were nice, but even though the open-air bath was said to have a hot spring temperature of 55 degrees, it was still quite warm in February, so a previous guest gave me a spot near the hot springs, saying it was warmer here. The food was locally produced and consumed in reasonable quantities, and there was a wide selection of local sake, and I was given good advice and the food was delicious. Breakfast didn't have a lot of items, but I ate a lot in the evening so it was enough.

A small beautiful log house in the valley of My Hakkoda. Quaint, rooms are double floor with the living room upstairs. Service was good though English was limited. Only shock we got was there was nothing nearby and as we did not know you had to order your lunch and dinner 3 days in advance!! We literally did not have lunch and dinner was a miserable bowl of soba as that was the only thing they have. And if you do not ski there is really nothing to offer except tons of snow!! Must thank the staff for trying really hard to solve the problems we had.

It feels like a hidden hotel in the mountains, but the facilities are clean and I had a comfortable stay. I reserved a room with a bath. The bath in the room was also a hot spring, so I took a bath there many times. Of course, I took a bath in the open-air bath in the large public bath while looking at the autumn leaves...it felt so good. Dinner was also well thought out and enjoyable. Breakfast was a buffet, and it was all delicious, using a variety of ingredients from Aomori. And the staff were wonderful...they kindly and carefully guided us through difficult matters such as giving directions, which was very helpful. If I had to pick any flaws, it would be that the building doesn't have an elevator and that there aren't enough shops, but other than that, I had a very pleasant time. I think it's a wonderful accommodation.
