Hôtel du Golf d'Arras

Lovely modern hotel with spa and golf course. Rooms were first class and our view across the greens was lovely. We’re not golf people and so didn’t use the facilities but the spa looked lovely. Restaurant food was over priced and disappointing in both quality and quantity. Simple bar food was better with beer and wine selection very good.

I stayed two nights here and ate here both nights and for breakfast. I used the gym and pool. The room and fitments are all very high quality. I loved the shower - a choice of three. The second night was a bit noisier with guests leaving early. The food is not the cheapest and the fitness suite is quite basic. There is a small pool with Sauna and Steam room. Probably could have done with another member of bar staff. I would say it is overall a very nice hotel with one side having views and the other side not so. I have stayed in lots opf hotels recently and there seems little correlation between price and quality. This was a good quality hotel suitabke for busoness and leisure.

If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel close to Arras, this is the one to choose. It has a great spa! Especially relaxing during a rainy November day. The room I had, is small but has a comfy bed, a refreshing shower and a nice view over the adjacent golf course. We had an arrangement with diner in the restaurant. Nice price / quality balance!

The Hotel is exceptional. The Staff no matter where in the hotel you were, made you feel welcome, comfortable and valued. The bedroom I had was impeccable, it was incredibly clean, it was fresh and modern with digital heating and cooling, a lit wardrobe with robes and spa footwear all ready for you. The shower had 3 different settings including power shower, hand wand and overhead. The bed was incredibly comfortable to the point where I could have stayed in it all day! I used the spa facilities more than once and was very impressed with the pool, not the biggest one you'll see but big enough. 3 Saunas and a jacuzzi to finish a session off nicely. The staff were so helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of options from continental to scrambled egg and bacon with fresh bread to cut yourself. The restaurant had a good selection of food options which I enjoyed during an evening meal. Only minor point through my stay was they didn't have a big tea selection. I enjoy an English breakfast tea in the morning but the options were quite limited. That's just my personal option for a morning drink. Couldn't fault any other part of my stay. Would I return? Absolutely.

Top class hotel. The staff are excellent. The restaurant is creative and deliver really good meals. The breakfast is high class - even the scrambled eggs are soft and regularly refreshed. The bar service is friendly and customer orientated. A well managed operation! Just one small point: please stop the over loud “lift music” which is piped through the speakers outside the bar. Just unnecessary in such a lovely setting.

Hotel looks very nice but safe in room not working, wardrobe door stuck, thermostat in shower broken, condensation in window sealed units, bar closes at 11pm, swimming pool not open until 10am, not what I’d expect from a 4 star hotel, on the plus side hotel staff very nice, nice views of golf course if window open

Great Hotel. We stayed here for the last 2 years as a stopover driving through France. It’s only an hour or so from Calais. The hotel is lovely. It’s very clean and new. The rooms are luxurious and beautifully decorated with our own private terrace. We stayed as a family of four in a king suite which was perfect. Plenty of space and pristine white bedding and comfy beds! There are tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) and bottles of water. We had slippers and robes. The spa is welcome after a long drive and very clean and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant both times and that would be my only criticism- the food is very rich and trying to be fine dining whilst not quite hitting the mark. I also think they need more bar staff in the evening as the bar is good and always busy ! However all staff especially reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent!! Look forward to our next visit! It’s becoming our family yearly tradition!

Following a week in Paris, we decided to head back to Calais day early. I booked this hotel, the same day we arrived. When we arrived at the hotel we had booked two rooms for two adults and three children. Eleonoie on reception went above and beyond to help us find rooms close to each other and also arrange late checkout out which was reasonably priced. The hotel has recently been refurbished, the interiors in the public areas in the bedrooms were beautifully designed and up Kat and the pool area was immaculate and fully equipped with sauna steam room and salt cave. There was also a hot tub with amazing views but it was out of service during our stay. You need to book a slot for the pool to limit overcrowding. We also booked 2 massages, which were both very happy with and again accommodated with little notice. The food in the restaurant was very high quality, but the waiting staff did not understand English too well and were not confident to speak to us. The food was slow to arrive but the restaurant was busy so recommend booking early if you have children. We probably would’ve spent more money. Had they been more attentive but the overall experience wasn’t bad. We look forward to returning again in the future with friends.

Have stayed here a couple of times as it is a convenient location when travelling using the shuttle. Rooms are immaculate, modern and clean and the staff are helpful. The restaurant is wonderful, however be aware it does not open on a Sunday evening. The bar food is a couple of cold plates, charcuterie etc but not geared up for vegetarians. The bar staff tried to come up with something which was kind ( on a Sunday). However a plate of bread and cheese and iceberg salad after a long drive was a bit dispiriting. There is a lovely pool area with sauna/steam rooms etc. As an older person I really struggled to access the pool and felt very unsafe and very ungainly leaving the hot tub as there are no handrails. Good breakfast and if the restaurant is open you will struggle to get a better meal, it's lovely.
