Hotel LD Palm Beach

We went in November. Hotel LD Plus. The hotel is good, the territory is small, all well-groomed. The rooms are spacious. Mini bar replenished daily, beer, water and cola. Shower sets are replenished with each cleaning. On the roof of the Hotel there is a jogging track, and a beautiful view of the dawn. The pools are always perfectly clean and open until late. We swam at 11 and 12 at night. Towels are changed at the reception without restriction, at least every hour. There is no evening animation, so the hotel focuses on the kitchen. They cook great! The choice of dishes is not huge, but there is always something new on the menu. Fish, meat (pork, beef), chicken are always present in different variations. Local cuisine is available. Very tasty potatoes. They did the same for Russian mashed potatoes and beef stroganoff. It was very cute and delicious. Did Olivier, also very tasty. They have a cook not from local guys, but a specially invited Italian. For lunch they served divine tiramisu. Chilean wine, red or white, was always offered for dinner. This wine in the store costs about 15-20 bucks a bottle. The hotel has an Italian a la carte restaurant, you can go to it 2 times for free. Be sure to go, they really prepare portioned dishes with a beautiful presentation, everything is very tasty. It was the first hotel where the food was so tasty and healthy that we did not have a desire to “wrap” a plate of borscht upon arrival home. Near the pool, at the snack bar, delicious pizza and pies from local cuisine. Usually in hotels pizza is so-so, but here it’s really delicious. Well, this is not surprising, the chef is Italian. There is a car to the beach, 2 minutes drive. We walked 5 minutes. On the beach, the bar has a decent selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. At your request, they can bring you directly to the sunbeds. On the beach you can eat oysters for 2 bucks a dozen. The sea has waves, but they are not huge and it is a pleasure to jump on the waves. The hotel has a hotel guide Anna, she will always come to your aid and help resolve any issue. Do not confuse it with guides from a tour operator.

I traveled with my mother to celebrate her 80th birthday. The attention of all the staff, starting with the reception, the pool bar (José de Jesús, Ricardo and Alex are one of the pluses of the hotel), the beach club and its tremendous team, the transfer from the hotel to the beach, the room, the room service, the restaurant, the meals, the snacks, the cocktails, the pool, in short, I don't have any negative comments. I note that it is a fairly quiet hotel, ideal for rest. The buffet is not that varied but it met my expectations. The offer includes healthy meals which was perfect for my mom.

Beautiful hotel on Playa el Agua, you are surprised it seems that from the attention to the food you are not in Venezuela. Very modern areas with lots of vegetation. Super comfortable rooms with queen beds in a double room and very clean, they have minibars that are replenished every day. The bars from the staff to the drinks that include you amazing. At the beginning it seemed expensive to us, but when we enjoyed its food, snacks and bars... and the music nights, they were showing that it was worth what we paid. The only thing that is not in front of the sea, like being on the beach all the time, but they take you in a super comfortable cart. The beach serves you drinks in the awnings, very vip the attention of the staff. The best thing is to have cold coconuts on the beach and incredible ice creams for the children. Breakfasts should be kept until 11:00 am to sleep a little more... the rest is super good.

The good: First world attention from the Waitress Hilda (an absolute love of a person) and the bartenders at the pool bar. The Bad: They pettyly charged me for entering earlier (I don't remember this in a resort anywhere in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Aruba, Curaçao, etc). . For an à la carte dinner they tried to charge :(, the fatal truth... The proteins were very poor for the high cost of the hotel, the fruits were always the same... The air conditioning was damaged and they didn't care about fixing it, the TV stopped damage and they didn't change it either. The all inclusive ends at 10 pm, what a robbery.

As for the hotel, it is very nice, very comfortable and modern rooms. The air was bad since we arrived but it was not only our room but our friends' room as well. You could even hear several people talking about the same thing on the beach, they should fix it because I'm looking at the comments from 2021 and it was bad. As for the food, in general it was good but more variety is needed. They should do more entertainment activities in the pool area and at night, the entertainer told us one day that they were going to do Zumba and when we asked him he told us that he was annoyed, at least they should play music. But the attention of the staff is very good and always willing to help. Both at the reception, in the restaurant and our friend Daniel.

I do not recommend this hotel if you expect it to be fun and interesting. More suitable for pensioners or families with small children. The hotel should think and change the animators. There is nothing to do in the evening.
