The property was adequately clean and close walking distance to many things. The staff was unhelpful in many ways. The shower drain was clogged and we had a lake in our bathroom with every shower. We literally walked on soaked towels during our stay. I notified the staff, but no one showed up to look at drain. They did leave towels at my request but did not remove the soaked ones! I requested a 6am taxi to train station and they put in the wrong time. I almost missed my train, it was pouring rain and Uber does not pick up in front of the hotel. I had to walk to an Uber meeting point with a large suitcase. I was soaked for the entire train ride. They never seemed apologetic or even bothered by their mishap.

The room is very small and not comfortable. The double bed is extremely small.
The noise coming from other rooms didn't let us sleep before 5 a.m
On the other side, the staff is friendly.

I really liked the location of the hotel, it was pretty centrally located, it was an easy walk to public transit ride to get to where we needed to go. The hotel was cute, and nice. The staff members were really friendly. If traveling back to Amsterdam in the future, I would absolutely stay here again.

Very basic. We had booked this hotel because you could also reserve breakfast. When we arrived we were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We were told we could have breakfast at 9:30 BUT we were not told until it would be available. So when we arrived at 10:30 they had cleared everything and no breakfast was served eventhough we paid for breakfast.

Very clean and friendly staff but we got placed in the basement of the hotel and could hear someone walking around the lobby all hours of the night. It is also in central Amsterdam and could hear outside noise for a while until it dies down in the night. Overall great stay except for the noise.

We were really happy with our stay here!
We had the biggest room, which unfortunately had the problem of having really! cold floor bc auf an big and also loud AC in the room under. (Here it might be needed to get an additional layer of insulation in the future?). When adressing the issue, staff immediately offered us an additional heater or switching rooms. We took the heater and it helped out. The day before leaving they also offered to keep our luggage for the final day, since our flight was very late. We were also really happy about the later check-out at 12, you dont get this everywhere. We had a really good stay and everybody was so friendly that we were happy to come back after a long day of exploring Amsterdam! Would totally come back! :)

Hotel itself was ok. We had a basement room - very tiny but clean and comfy. Our flight was cancelled due to a ATC strike going on in Iceland. They were not understanding and we know we couldn't get a refund but asked if we could still stay for 2 nights and they said no - they would not apply that first night we lost to a second night there. We told them that we would be returning to Amsterdam in 3 weeks and would stay there if they would work with us. They did not - so when we returned, we stayed at another hotel. They were pretty far out from Center City so we didn't really get the taste of Amsterdam until we returned and stayed closed to the center of the city.

The room was neat and served us well for our one-night stay. For three adults, the space was limited but the beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. The personnel were very friendly and accommodated all our wishes. The breakfast was nothing spectacular but sufficient. The coffee was great, and we loved that it was available all day. The location was good for sight-seeing and strolling in the city.

The location of the hotel is so good that we barely needed any public transportation for our 4-day stay to enjoy the city as a couple. The main tourist destinations are within walking distance, such as the Anne Frank House in Jordaan or the Van Gogh museum in the Museumsplein for - the accommodation lies conveniently in between them.
In addition to that, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who also gave us valuable suggestions of restaurants and tourist attractions.
The room was small, but cosy, with remarks to the awesome shower. Downsides were minimal, such as a little bit of noise during the night - there was an issue with the room telephone which sounded an alarm sometimes, probably due to bad contact in its wiring - but there was an easy fix to it (just mute it).
