Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

Hotel 717 lives up to its buzz and in fact, exceeded our expectations. From start to finish our stay was delightful. We were greeted warmly at the front doorstep and treated to a welcome cocktail after checking in. The property is beautiful! Expertly curated with whimsical, decorative details throughout. Our room was spacious, and the bed + bedding were sublime. Staff was exceptionally kind, with extra special praise earned by Camilla and Wolf who went above and beyond for us! It was quite difficult to leave Hotel 717, although the send-off tin of cookies eased our sadness and heightened our hopes to return asap. Thank you, Hotel 717! We are grateful for you all!

This hotel is awesome. The loft house I chose to live in is full of high-tech sinks. There is a TV in the mirror. I can use the whole hotel. It is like a museum full of literary atmosphere. When a gentleman leads me to visit the hotel. And the history of the hotel was first explained by a bank and later became a conservatory. The hotel was renamed as the current hotel. The location is especially great. The National Museum Van Gogh Museum walks for 5 minutes. It has a great seafood walk 2 minutes back to the room and finds the bed to help sleep. The fragrance spray and the weather conditions of the next day will be especially intimate and will choose this hotel.

Excellent location, could walk to every “tourist” place. . Plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the doors! The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of options and the staff very accommodating! Pastry chef is outstanding..deserves a raise!! Croissants the lightest fluffiest ever! Everything tastes as good as it looks! Front desk staff very nice, Sarah went out of her way to “fix” a minor problem and continued ask if everything was ok each time she saw us. Rooms clean and roomy, beds comfortable would stay again if ever in Amsterdam and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks! Transportation from airport is a little pricey (taxi for 4 ..70-100 euros depending on traffic ) but once you are there no need to use again.

Right next to the subway station, there are trams 4 and 14. We came out of the airport to take the train to the Central Station, and then changed to No. 4 to the hotel. The streets and roads in Amsterdam are not all asphalt roads, many of which are small bricks and have a lot of luggage. You have to choose the side of the subway station, otherwise you will walk too hard. Old hotel, very clean, very warm reception. No breakfast choice. If you are booking a car, please pay attention to the fact that taxis, etc. cannot reach the entrance of the hotel, or you must cross the square, or be on the side of the road behind you.

The location of the hotel was good. It's walking distance from the central station and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the receptionist even walked me to the lift. However, the layout of the hotel was a little weird as the lift to my room was a small one in a corner next to the carpark entrance. Wasn't a good impression given the amount paid for the stay. The room was small but the decor was pleasing and very comfortable. The toilet was of a good size and the shower was relatively wide. Breakfast provided at the hotel was good.

I have stayed at the third hotel in Amsterdam and I personally prefer the NH Museum. The decoration style of this INK hotel is more avant-garde, that is, the rooms are small, the location is superior, and it is very close to the central station. You can also easily walk to Dam Square to fight, or visit the red light district. If you are staying in Amsterdam for a short time, you can choose this one.

We decided to splurge on this 5 star hotel for a long anticipated family reunion. Unfortunately the experience was marred by a series of disappointments caused by utterly incompetent hotel staff. When I called ahead on the day of our arrival to request an early check-in the hotel rep. sternly informed me that I would have to pay a 120 Euro charge for the privilege! We are experienced travelers and never have we encountered such a demand. We took our chances regardless and decided to show up 2 hours early. Sure enough, our room was already ready and we were allowed to occupy it at no extra charge. Things really started to go south when a limousine that I had arranged for separate airport pickup of my daughter’s family through the concierge showed up at the airport unequipped with a baby car seat. I had expressly requested this when I booked the service. This was also specified in the booking confirmation sent by email to me by the concierge. The reaction I later got when I complained to the concierge was that I was not charged extra for the baby seat - as if this was the main issue! Furthermore, this was the first time that I was informed of such a charge, as no mention of this had been made in the email confirmation of the limo reservation which I originally received from the concierge. More importantly, what is more concerning is the utter indifference he showed for the safety of a guest’s infant grandchild. All that concerned him was the money angle to the failure. Things soon got worse. When we checked into our room we lifted the bed cover to discover several hairs and multiple red and yellow stains. Unbelievably, the chambermaid had neglected to change the bedsheets. This, in a 5 star hotel! After we called reception, staff was quickly sent to our room to change them. We never heard further from management about this. We later had dinner at Serre restaurant onsite and left the place hungry. The chef seems to focus on presentation and less on the reasonableness of the portions. My wife had a fish main course which was equivalent to 3 forkfuls. The minuscule dessert was pretty to look at but was grossly inadequate even for one person. The restaurant style is a throwback to the old Nouvelle Cuisine school. For the icing on the cake: a voucher for a round of drinks on the house at the rooftop bar that the guest services manager had kindly given me was bungled by the bar staff. When I arrived home I discovered a mysterious charge of 66 Euros by the Twenty-Third Floor Bar. The bar staff set new standards of incompetence in taking my voucher and charging me anyway.I had to call the hotel for credit but I am losing money anyway from the spread in exchange rates used by credit card companies. To be fair, the Superior View room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view. The large pool and ample spa facilities were enjoyable and a significant convenience . Tram stop is right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient on one hand but can be a bit noisy if your room windows are facing the street. Keep in mind that there is no lift and stairs are pretty steep, so for travelers with heavy suitcases this can be challenging. Single beds are comfortable but really narrow as in my opinion. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Stayed in October 2021. Pleasant hotel, location is great. Do keep an eye out for the specific room you’re booking, the pictures are misleading. I got the standard room, but the bed wasn’t “free” and the room was much smaller than the photos showed, so the bed was shoved to the wall with one side. There also was no Nespresso machine unlike the photos showed, though the reception was okay to put one on my room. The room card is also the card used for the elevator, though the technology seems outdated. Every return to the hotel, the card didn’t work on the elevator and had to be reactivated at the reception. Minor inconvenience but still annoying when in a rush. Overall an okay experience, not the best, not the worst.

I've read a few reviews before going there, and I do understand where some are coming from, but definitely not others... the rooms are indeed small, but they have all the space you need, specially if you're travelling alone. You can barely hear the noise outside (you can hear the planes flying by or the ambulance on the street, but it's very muffled) and the rooms have good sound insulation + heating. The issue is the other clients staying at the inn that don't have common sense and respect for anyone else and just arrive late at night screaming and talking loud for no reason... you really can't blame the hotel for that. The public transportation is amazing there, with tram and direct bus from Schipol airport nearby. I've went to a concert in Melkweg, so also very close to the arena, which was the purpose of my trip. It's pretty much center Amsterdam, so it is an old building, so the stairs are a bit small. It wasn't my case, because I had only a small bag, but the hotel staff asked the couple in front of me if they needed help carrying their bags upstairs. So the staff goes extra and beyond to try to be helpful. Would return there a next time.

Very quiet as we always ask for a room facing the rear. Rooms modest but typical for large cities. Continental breakfast available. We prefer a firmer, larger bed but with jet lag, we were fine for two nights.
