Staff is friendly and takes it quickly. Eating was delicious. Unfortunately, also a little less points. The room is quite warm and can not open windows and doors due to noise burden. There is a air-conditioning but it is not cool enough. Unfortunately it can be a little better in communication. It is clearly indicated that we wanted vegetarian meat for three people at our wedding. There would be a separate scale of vegetarian meat at our bbq. This was unfortunately not happened. After the posting was indicated, there was a lie about this, that the guests were asked whether they could mean something else, and that the food was delightful. (by the people who were so Vega) after returning to communicate by email that this is not true, NOT heard anything again!!!! Oowja and the bed where we had to spend our wedding night was held together by a crack under the bed. Bet was already deeply down and mostly my husband has sleeped abundantly! Most regrettably they had an excuse for everywhere afterwards, and so things that are not true! And then don't react to you if you still email them!

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. I was planning New Year's trip with friends and while browsing for hotels, Postillion seemed like ”the best bang for your buck”. Originally we booked a room for 3 nights, but because a friend bought our train tickets for a day earlier by mistake, we had to come one day before planned. Fortunately, we arranged everything with the receptionist over a simple phone call and got another room for that extra night (because ”ours” was occupied that night). If you travel by train like us, there is a short 15 minute walk from Bunnik train station to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidied up. Rooms have electric kettle and some tea and instant coffee packets, which is very helpful. A nice touch to the room is a bean bag. There is no mini bar, probably because drinking alcohol isn't allowed in the hotel. Bathrooms are a bit small, but if you're staying for a few nights it's okay. It was a little cold in the room, but we read that is a common thing in the Netherlands this winter. It would be nice if 4-bed rooms would have an extra desk and a chair. Housekeeping ladies were nice, polite and gave us extra instant coffee. On the New Year's Eve day, there was a gift from the hotel for all guests - traditional Dutch donuts and prosecco. The hotel is dog friendly. All of the receptionists were so very polite and friendly during our staying - that and cleanliness is something I will remember this hotel by.

Overall still very good, the location is very good, there are 352 to go to Wageningen and Arnhem, and the Rhine is beautiful. The service is very warm, the breakfast is very expensive...16-17 Euro. The only drawback is that there is no disposable equipment in foreign countries, and the slippers and toothbrushes must be taken by themselves.

What a great hotel ! Excellent staff , accommodation and dining . By far the best hotel I have stayed in in the Netherlands - and I have stayed in a few . All of the staff I met were at the top of their game and were ultra polite , smart and helpful . Brilliant teamwork .

High-end hotel. The room is large and the facilities are new and the living is very comfortable. The front desk is very good. Because there are various activities in the hotel from time to time, there are more people coming and going. I don't know why the room suddenly broadcast loudly in the early morning of the middle of the night, we can't understand it, broadcast three times. Parking for in-house guests is free.
