Apart from the noisy construction work right at the front door, there is nobody to assist with arrival, luggage, and no concierge either. Only ever one person on the front desk and not very happy either! A taxi will drop you on the road out front and then it’s up to you. Booked a Junior Suite for over €300 and it just was not up to standard. Lousy plumbing (not new to old Italian buildings), noisy, dull with lots of confusing light switches, air-con that sounds like a jumbo jet, and no tissues in bathrooms. So does that sound 5 Star? This hotel must have had some prestige back in the day but it would struggle to make a 3 Star ranking today. Location is not good either. Surrounded by graffiti and dirty looking buildings. A decent walk to Duomo, allow at least 15 minutes and very difficult to access Milano Central Station: at least 30 minutes and €30 in a taxi as the traffic is terrible with all the roadworks. Check out some more up to date pics! And stay elsewhere.

Great location — close but just far enough from the Duomo and relevant subway stops to make getting around Milan easy and quick. The staff was so friendly and helpful and clearly had our safety in mind. The room was right below the lively rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The room itself was small but perfect for me, my husband, and young adult son. The rooftop bar was fun and felt so glamorous, too! Their menu was on also topnotch, a great place to enjoy aperitivo and enjoy the nightfall sky. You could hear the slight thump of music from our rooms, but that didn’t bother us at all. The gentleman at the front desk was also so kind and helpful with all our questions from money exchange to metro stops to restaurant recommendations and even fashion advice!

The Hotel Brunelleschi is in a convenient location to the main attractions and amenities of Milan, a 5 minute walk in a safe location. The hotel is known for its' business travelers which is how we knew of the hotel from my husband's previous stays. It is clean and well appointed with a spacious lobby, restaurant and bar along with a large dining room on the lower level serving their breakfast buffet. The room was large,comfortable with an additional small sofa which was also a pull out bed. Multiple charges available. The bathroom was well outfitted with great fluffy towels. Generous breakfast buffet offered hot and cold items with a varied selection, even offering Proseco for those who wanted to make mimosas. Staff at the desk gracious and accommodating to questions and requests. Efficient in arranging our car transportation to the airport on departure.

But, there is this amazing park-area in the back. It looks like an endless forest but it's in the middle of Milano! A long breakfast, sitting in the outdoor area would have been so nice. The only thing that was good about this hotel is the location, AB 10 mins from the center.... BUT.... I have booked double room for only myself and it was supposed to be 18 kvm... when I got into the room it was far away from 18... more like 12... seems like they gave me the smallest room just bc I was alone even if I paid for a bigger room. After my complaint I got another room that was much better. On the reception they were trying to tell me that that was a standard double room, when I could clearly see on the map of rooms on the wall that that one was the smallest... felt like they put bigger bed and trying to sell it as double, be careful.... On their homepage it says that bathrobe is included, asked for it couple of times in the end they said.... no we don't have it only towels.... ehhh... 4 star hotel... would have been strange if there were no towels either.... There is no bar as it says on the page either... The reception is closed from 23... so no 24h service their either.... When I was checking out they wanted me to pay City taxes that I have already paid on the day of the arrival... Honestly I don't really know why they still keep their stars...

Eating is convenient, going out on the pedestrian street, Chinese food, Italian food are all a few minutes away. The Antica Locanda Leonardo hotel is located a block away from Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Super which was a pleasant surprise. If only we had been made aware of that fact, in the hotel documentation and website, we might have requested tickets months in advance, when we made the hotel reservation. A missed opportunity. The initial reception interaction was truly welcoming and the room itself was adequate. We could not get the AC fan to come on during our entire stay. The curtains in the bathroom were see thru. Bare walls without any type of artwork was a rather unpleasant surprise. A couple of paintings, prints, posters, or photographs would have made the room a lot more welcoming. Breakfast was also barely adequate, nothing to write home about, but just the basics. The hot chocolate was watery and not even at the level of a Nestle hot cacao pouch. Had to request room service one day after departing the room in the early morning and placing the request for service on the door knob, and returning in the late afternoon without the room being made. The clerk at the reception wanted to make excuses about the maids making up rooms for new arrivals ahead of others, but that did not make any sense at 4:00 pm in the afternoon after we had been out all day. Overall, considering the nightly rates, not recommended. Also, very limited places to eat in the neighborhood.

The very spacious rooms have slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Complimentary water is also provided. The location is very convenient. There is a Japanese restaurant nearby for a few days, it is very fresh. Italian food is not praised on the street and is quite edible, not to mention large quantities. Breakfast at the hotel is relatively basic. It starts too late. If you don't have time to eat after a few days, leave the house. Don't order breakfast next time. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. The first night was inexperienced. Swelling of the bridge of the nose. Mosquitoes woke up in the middle of the night and killed 6 bloody mosquitoes in one night. The next day, before going to bed, four or five mosquitoes appear, and the doors and windows are closed. I don't know where these mosquitoes fly. Other hotels have mosquitoes in the background too, which is awesome.

The location was also very good near the Duomo. I went to the Duomo three times, once in the morning and once at night. Anyway, the location is really good. There is one from the main street, but it is safe and I would like to use it next time. The room was small, but it was clean and had an automatic card lock. It was a fun stay where I forgot my toothbrush and they showed me where to buy it even late at night, and they took great care of me in many ways.

I stayed for the second time in this facility for its comfort and strategic location. Excellent for those like me who travel alone x work, metro and services in the immediate vicinity. It should be noted that as a rental room there are not the same services as the hotel but x me is the top.

This hotel is perfectly located next to Cadorna station and Metro. You are unable to hear the trains from your room. The room was very modern and sparkling clean, the toiletries were high quality and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel is quite difficult to find as it is in a building behind huge doors. The reception is on the third floor and closes at midnight. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. A great hotel

This place had a great location near the train station but far enough away where we were not bothered by crowds and the windows were insulated against noise. It was very easy to walk to the metro each day which was steps away, and the train station next door had trains to both Lake Como and a direct Train to Malpensea. The aparthotel itself was located in a very clean, quiet building with a door person during the weekdays. At night it was easy to enter with instructions. The room itself was a good size, enough for a couple in one room while a friend stayed in the living room on a sofa bed. The kitchen was a good size and very well equipped. Each day, the aparthotel checked in on us by whatsapp to make sure everything was ok. We did not interact with them too much as everything was good in the room and we never needed anything. I liked the place for the nice room and central location. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Milan.

Apartment was lovely and clean. Ideally situated and only a short walk into town. The check in process was very simple and easy to follow and the staff were very friendly. Train station located just outside the entrance which is ideal if you are looking to take a day trip to Lake Como. Very happy with our stay!!
