This hotel is packed with old-school charm. Room was comfortable and beautifully decorated and the grounds of the hotel are lovely. The staff were all very hardworking and welcoming, despite us showing up late at night after a delayed flight. Breakfast was good. Restaurant fare is on the pricier side compared to outside food (as to be expected with hotels) but tasty and generous, we also really enjoyed their special Xmas Eve dinner. Location is a bit further out from the taj area but it was very easy to get around using Uber auto (rickshaws) and the hotel’s garden area + pool area made it feel like a nice quiet oasis from busy Agra, so we slept well. They were doing some work on the rooftop during the time we were there so we weren’t able to use the terrace - a shame as the views seemed great.

Great hotel for great journey with indispensable memories. In this hotel you can fill as dreams of forgotten past comes true in service, attitude and atmosphere. Everything from decorum and helpful personnel to evening entertainments for guests make you fill yourselves as duchess or princess travelling with leisure and in appropriate respect.

Yes, the hotel is a little old, but the atmosphere is incomparable. Great service, clean room.
Breakfast: there are boiled eggs, omelettes to order, porridge, fruits, sweets and local snacks. From drinks-mango juice, some and tea.

Lovely stay. The history of this 150 year old property is enchanting. We definitely want to come back here when possible. There are cultural programs organized in the evening - dance, puppet show, live music.if possible choose the chamber of Prince as these suites are on the ground floor and open to the pool

Had a great experience at the hotel. The location is great and the property is very well maintained. The restaurant particularly has great food and service. The pool is a particular stand out as its an excellent place to relax after a long day.

Very Warm Hotel very suitable for families and is a very spacious hotel with green lawns all around. Rooms are also very spacious with suite like facilities. Opt for rooms overlooking the lawn such as 201, 202 etc. The reception staff, house keeping supervisor Deepak Upadhyay, restaurant staff were all very courteous and friendly. You'll feel at home here.

Lovely staff, food was nice. Nandani was very kind and helpful throughout my stay , would come back.. I would recommend the Taj Mahal sunrise tour, it's quite and so beautiful... Weather was amazing in December ... ... ... ... ............ .

Nandani was helpful from the word go! From the moment we stepped through the door of the Grand Imperial, she checked us in, presented us with flower garlands and gave us a beautiful tour of the building. Once we had been shown to our room, Nandani took us to the property’s beautiful garden and gave me a wonderful henna design on my hand. What a perfect start to our stay in Agra!
