Quiet, nice and comfort place to stay. Placed little bit inside from the road make it quiet and calm to relax in this cottage. Clean pool, beautiful garden, friendly staff. Sure will be back again to this place, soon!

The hotel is in a great location in Gili Air about a 10 minute walk from the harbour. (If your sat nav tries to take you a scenic way to the hotel ignore it and just follow the costal path round - much easier). The hotel itself is ok, the staff are very friendly and the price is cheap and I do think that reflects in the hotel. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom however there was a drain smell in the bathroom during the whole of our stay (the bathroom is open at the top so I assume the smell was from outside the bathroom). The pool was green so we did not go in it and on our last day there was a sign next to the pool saying it was under maintenance so could not be used anyway. The hotel has a restaurant next door which has live music which is good, they also provided a nice breakfast.

Salem is located near the beach. The outdoor restaurant is overlooking the beach with another indoor restaurant in front of the accommodation. It is walking distance to the harbour and the many restaurants in between. Great snorkeling right in front where you can safely snorkel along the beach. We booked the pool view suite which was really unusual. There is a common sitting area adjoining four suites so can be very noisy. Also there is no verandah to sit outside. The staff were great and happily let us change rooms to the garden view suite that had a verandah. If we stayed again we would book a bungalow that were separate from each other. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

photos trompeuses , personnels laxistes , coffre fort non fixé , chambre pas faire , service pressing ( ne savait ou ils avait déposé le linge ) et pour finir j'ai du réparer la fenetre de la chambre qui ne fermait pas ....... Et je n'exagère pas d'où ma très grande frustration en ce lieu si merveilleux ..........

Estafa!! Fraude!! Hotel poco profesional. Trato con los turistas muy malo. Reserva pagada de dos suites con vistas a la piscina desde el mes de abril y al llegar nos dieron otras habitaciones que no tenían nada que ver. Tras la petición del cambio al mostrarles nuestra reserva con las fotos y explicación solo respondían que fue un error de booking. Risas y mofas.Una falta de respeto y poca profesionalidad increíble.Unicamente repetían como un contestador que no se hacían cargo.El problema es de booking y por eso no devolvían el dinero .Y si no nos gustaban sus condiciones que nos fuéramos ( sin devolver el importe pagado).Poca formación del recepcionista y poca profesionalidad del encargado que vino a las cinco horas,haciendo espavientos sin sentido sin dar solución. Acabamos fuera del Hotel. Siendo informadas al día siguiente mientras hacíamos una excursión , sin consetinie to alguno. Gracias a Booking tuvimos buena respuesta y mejor final. Ellos se negaban en todo momento tanto en mediar como en reubicarnos en estancias como las que habíamos pagado y en devolver la diferencia. Un engaño!!!!! No todo vale al turista!!!

Notre réservation au Banana cottage ayant été annulée nous avons atterri au Salim cottage et nous avons été ravis. Situé à 15’ de marche du port sur la côte est. Certes l’hôtel mériterait quelques travaux de rénovation, mais les cottages sont impeccables, la piscine aussi et le bar de hôtel est au bord de la plage avec soirée musicale en soirée (live band) jusqu’à 23h (mais non audible depuis les bungalows) avec très bonne ambiance. Restaurant sympa et personnel très aimable. Lever de soleil devant le bar Très belles plages pour la baignade et le snorkeling et plusieurs bons restos poissons BBQ à proximité dont le ChillOut.
