A fairly typical SHS in the heart of Addison. Our stay was pleasant and relatively uneventful. We had a few days at the SHS so I opted for the larger room/suite. The room was clean and had enough room for the two us to use as a home base while visiting Dallas. Parking was easy. The pool area was small but a pleasant place to sip on a cold beverage in the shade. Breakfast was hot and tasty enough...included with the room so a nice value. Staff was working to make sure the breakfast items were restocked when necessary. Right off of Beltline and The North Dallas Tollway...the SHS Quorum was a good safe, clean hotel.

We’ve stayed here several times and it is always clean, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious and check-in is hassle-free.

I came for a medical training at Acumed. I was robbed at the hotel room 324 during the day 16th and/or morning 17th on the day 15th at night, I keep my wallet inside my laptop bag pack, with my passport and other documents, because I didn't want to take it with me. My bag pack never go outside of the room hotel. My wallet never go out from my bag pack since night 15th, I keep all my stuff including my wallet inside my bag pack. All My documents passport, and other cards was inside, Just my wallet were missing. My wallet was taken from inside my bag pack. Another issue is, today 17th August 2024. I left my iPhone charger and wire, connected at the bathroom ( I charged my phone this morning), when I came back to the room, won't be there. After check out 1.5 hours later room has already cleaned for the service people. There is no reason not to report it or gave me back my phone charger The front desk man told that he has no reports of my iPhone charger and wire. Definitely has to be reported so that phone charger was also robbed, and no reports about it, no forgiven stuff. I have no answer from manager yet. They told me call back on Monday. I would like to have it back my wallet and my money around $5000 US dollars and also my phone charger. I have no, any doubts, that I was robbed at my room 324 Hilton hotel. That happens during the day 16th and 17th after I did my check out they didn't have me back my phone charger, front desk man just said they didn't found anything.

I do not recommend staying at this Residence Inn. The hotel/rooms could be upgraded. After initial inspection, the refrigerator had blonde hair on the door. There were eyebrow hairs on the pillow that I had not used. In addition, I had an iron but no ironing board. When I called the front desk twice, first a gentleman and second a woman, neither were of any assistance. The young lady apologized and stated that housekeeping did not arrive until 9 AM. I had an event to go to at 9. Clearly, we do not know how to troubleshoot problems or extend customer service to resolve an issue. I spoke with Marriott's customer service, she too was of little assistance. She stated that I had to speak with the manager at the location. I informed I made the attempt but the manager would be in until Monday afternoon. Neither of which would resolve the issue. Spend your money where people the company is willing to make provide customer service and can think critically.

Great place to stay! Super friendly staff. Housekeeping does a fabulous job! Keep up the good work! Place smells really good from the moment you walk into the front. Close to restaurants, even walking distance. Seems like a safe area. I will stay again.

Arrived at the hotel at mid day on a really cold day. Was greeted by friendly Front Office Staff, who were all wearing their football team shirts, who gave me an early checkin. The rooms were modern and well appointed. I wanted to get some work done and the chair at the desk was heavy and clunky, I prefer more of an office chair, so not a deal breaker. This hotel is located in an area where there are many offices, so there is not much going on outside, so you will need to have a car or use a taxi/Uber if you want to go out for dinner or do some shopping at the Galleria. Went for a conference and the food was nice, but had one meal at the TEX Fusion Bar and the knocked it out with an amazing burger. The TEX Fusion Bar can be quite happening, on the two nights I stayed there, we had a big group staying there, so bar was busy. I saw the flight crew from Emirates and Qatar also stay at this property. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean modern hotel, well appointed rooms and great elevator control, no mad dashes to missed elevators.

My wife wanted to join me on a business trip which meant we had to take our 3 Chiwinnies. We typically stay at Aloft which is pet friendly but since changing to IHG, I wanted to get my points of course. I made the reservation from my IHG App and at no point did it prompt me for name of pet, number of pets so I assumed I was good and if there was any other fees or charges, they would alert me at checkin. Upon check-in the gentleman asked me if this was my first time staying at this property. I said yes and that I normally stay in Las Colinas, but they didn't have a pet friendly hotel in that area. I then asked if I could be close to a stairwell so I could take the dogs out down the stairs instead of bringing them through the lobby as to not cause any issues. He said he would get me as close as possible. When he gave me my room keys, I asked him where the stairwell was that I could park by to bring the dogs up. He pointed in the direction of the stairwell and I was on my way. We checked in on Saturday and on Monday my wife receives a call in the room accusing her of having 3 dogs. She acknowledged that we had 3 dogs and was promptly told she needed to authorize a room charge of $75 per pet which totaled $225.00. Being afraid she had done something wrong and unaware of my conversation with the from desk attendant on checkin, she said ok. Upon learning of this, I stopped by to speak the the attendant on duty who was aware of the situation and said I would need to speak with the General Manager. I explained that I had mentioned several times that we had dogs on checkin and were not advised of any charges. She said I would need to speak with the GM and there was nothing she could do about it. I contact IHG who seemed to be in shock that I had experienced this kind of treatment and promptly said she would call the Property and see what she could find out. When she called, she said she had spoken to the GM and he would be calling me. Upon speaking with the GM, he seemed more upset that I had called IHG than he was about my bad experience. I had mentioned to IHG that there has been a man sleeping in his car in the back parking lot for 3 days and that in fact eery time I had exited or entered the hotel from the back entrance, he was in the car with engine running. The GM went into great detail about how this man was a regular guest at the hotel and no one else had complained about him sleeping in his car in the parking lot with the engine running and he say no issue. After then telling me that it is not swimming season in Addison, Texas yet because it was only May, I realized I was dealing with someone who was more worried about being right than being happy. I let him finished at which point he said he Wass going to refund the fees since I had not been told about them at checkin when I mentioned the dogs. I thanked him and apologized for any inconvenience. That same afternoon, the GM called our room and spoke to my wife saying one of our dogs had urin

Our stay was due to a soccer tournament in the area and our team advanced to the semifinals. Our games got pushed back due to a rain delay and Clayton, at the front desk, so kindly helped us to extend our check out. He was so helpful with everything and had such a refreshingly positive attitude. I will definitely stay here again for next year’s tournament!
