Our first time here on Hotel Maya and all in can say is we had a great stay here 😍
Staffs are friendly and welcoming 😘
Food (breakfast) was ok so many choices 😋
Cleanliness was good too 👍
Location was superb, just a walking distance to KLCC Petronas and Pintasan Saloma
Since we're backpackers, grab taxi was just a click away in our cp(thru Grab App) to book everywhere we wanna go like church, Merdeka Square,Merdeka 118,Lalaport,Pavilion etc.
Hotel has pool (but kinda a bit cold) so my son just took a quick dip
The room was clean with comfy bed, it has mini ref and cofee and tea was provided
Bathroom with hot and cold including the faucet(sink)
Wifi inside the room was fast
Overall experience was good and affordability of the hotel was ok 👍
For me,I highly recommend Maya Hotel💯✅️ 👌FromAU$84

The location is excellent, the staff were super friendly and polite, and both rooms were big and comfortable. The hotel was clean. There was a strange smell in the corridor, I think because of the weather, but it did not affect our stay or rooms at all. We took breakfast, which was fair. I only wished there were gluten-free bread and lactose-free milk; the manager was helping his colleagues, which was nice to see.
For sure, I will come back again to this hotel.FromAU$116

I had a wonderful stay at The Face Suites. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful city view. It felt more like staying in a luxury apartment than a hotel, which was perfect for relaxing.
The location is excellent, very convenient and close to many attractions. The highlight of the stay was definitely the rooftop infinity pool — the view is stunning, especially at night. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it was great value for money, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend The Face Suites and would love to stay here again.FromAU$103

Stayed for four nights. The room was fantastic, a two-bedroom apartment with a living room and a washing machine. We had a great view of the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower from our window, and it was very comfortable for our family of three. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Petronas Twin Towers shopping area and Pavilion. Breakfast was just okay, and we were a bit unhappy that they didn't clean our room one day.FromAU$101

We stayed at Oasia Suites Kuala Lumpur (Far East Hospitality) for just one night, and overall it was a decent short stay.
The location is great and very convenient. Our room was on a high floor (around the 20th or 22nd, I can’t quite remember), with high ceilings and a lovely view of the KL Tower — that was definitely a highlight. The space was ample, which we appreciated, and we liked the extra amenities provided in the room.
However, there were a few downsides. Upon check-in, the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. It felt a little transactional rather than warm.
We also noticed visible footprints on the floor, and it felt dusty when walking barefoot. There was a card in the room mentioning ongoing renovations, so that might have contributed to the condition. Since we were only staying one night and had errands to run, we didn’t call housekeeping.
Additionally, the bidet hose was leaking, which was quite troublesome as it ended up getting my clothes wet.
Overall, the room size, ceiling height, and KL Tower view were great positives. With improved housekeeping and warmer service at check-in, the experience could have been much better.FromAU$81

The staff were really helpful and friendly, which made the stay feel very welcoming. The room was bigger than I expected and quite comfortable, so it was easy to relax. The location is also very convenient since it’s close to KLCC and Avenue K, making it easy to get food and get around. Overall, I had a really nice stay and would definitely come back again.FromAU$70

I personally feel that this stay was very satisfying.
My partner and I, along with our two parents, stayed at this hotel. I meticulously compared several options on Trip.com before ultimately choosing this one.
Firstly, the environment was exceptionally clean, and everyone was incredibly polite. On our first night, it was quite late when we took a Grab from the train station to the hotel. It was our first time using Grab, and I forgot to select a payment method. When we arrived, the driver asked for cash, which I didn't have. The receptionist at the entrance kindly paid the cash for us, and we were able to find him and reimburse him the next day.
Everyone was very welcoming upon arrival, and there were even welcome fruits and snacks. The rooftop terrace was even more delightful; we could swim and enjoy the views up there until 7:00 PM every day. We had a very close-up view of the Kuala Lumpur Tower. I believe that the next time I visit Kuala Lumpur, I will choose to stay at this hotel again.FromAU$104

Traveling to Kuala Lumpur for Chinese New Year, I saw a lot of good reviews on Trip.com and booked a 4-night stay. On the very first day, there was a power outage. I woke up at 3 AM because of the heat. The next day, after being out all day, I returned to a completely dark hotel lobby – no electricity. My room had power, but no hot water. After a long day of sightseeing, I couldn't shower. I was too tired, so I just went to sleep, and finally had hot water in the morning. On the third day, I came back again to no hot water. When I asked the front desk, they said it would be an hour until it came back on. I was so annoyed and hung up. Luckily, Trip.com's international team was constantly helping me communicate. Thankfully, it didn't completely ruin my trip, but it did make the vacation a bit unpleasant. Trip.com told me they'd never encountered this situation before, but it definitely happened to me.FromAU$118

We enjoyed our stay at Oakwood Hotel. The room was spacious and even came with a small living area, which made it feel extra comfortable. The toilet was large too, with a separate bathtub and standing shower. Hot water worked perfectly and the water pressure was strong – definitely a plus.
There was also a pantry area equipped with filtered water, an electric kettle, and a microwave, which was very convenient. The hotel has a pool as well, though our schedule was too packed to fully utilise it.
One thing to note is that the TV could use an upgrade, as the image wasn’t very sharp and the colours sometimes shifted. It didn’t affect us much since we were mostly on our phones anyway.
Another minor downside is that the lift doesn’t go to B1, where most of the parking lots are, so it requires a bit of extra walking.
Overall, a comfortable and well-equipped stay with great room space and facilities. Would consider returning!FromAU$81

I booked the Sky Suite for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day quite a while in advance. The room was spacious, and both the bedroom and living room offered views of the Petronas Towers. However, the room windows were quite dirty, which made photos turn out poorly. The cleanliness was excellent, and there was plenty of bottled water in the room. We received welcome fruit, but it wasn't provided daily. If the hotel were more thoughtful, they could have offered something like sweet soup on subsequent days, as we couldn't finish the fruit.
The room rate was quite high; at 6,000 a day, it felt a bit overpriced. We stayed for three consecutive days and didn't even receive a souvenir.
The essential oil in the room smelled nice, and I particularly liked the scent of the essential oil in the hallway.
Here are a few areas that need improvement:
1. The air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted above 24 degrees Celsius.
2. The faucet in the sink had no buffer, so water would splash all over you as soon as you turned it on.
3. The main bathroom light was linked to the exhaust fan, which was incredibly loud. Any time you needed more light, the exhaust fan would also turn on, creating a lot of noise.
4. Room soundproofing was poor; we could hear noise from both the hallway and the bar upstairs.
5. The duvet was too thin, and because the air conditioning was so cold, we froze at night.
The swimming pool was nice, but there was only one changing room. I'd recommend changing in your room before going for a swim.
The rooftop bar charged 1200 MYR for two people on New Year's Eve, and the fireworks were terrible. Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money.FromAU$436

The first night was okay, but on the second day, the cleaning was a mess. The sheets were practically half-on, I couldn't believe it! 🤣🤣 I had to ask them to come back and fix it. But the front desk service was really good. Nearby, there's Nasi Durian, fish balls, and some Chaoshan cuisine. It's quite far from KLCC though, and taxis are a bit pricey.FromAU$94

Service: There's a front desk, making check-in and check-out very convenient. Environment: It's 400 meters from the subway station, a 15-minute walk to Pavilion KL, and other attractions are also nearby. Facilities: The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries or slippers, but it does have a washing machine. Hygiene: The hygiene is quite poor. The bathroom had a strange smell, and there were especially many cockroaches, countless cockroaches.FromAU$51
