Timberland Highlands Resort map

This is the second part of our 2 night stay in this resort. My brother got married here last weekend. I do not have any issues with the amenities and cleanliness of the hotel and the hotel staff if checked in were so accomodating. The problem that most of the people from the wedding encountered are the following: 1. My mom bought 2 lechon - each lechon big enough to accomodate generously 80-90 pax. The wait staff did not give us seconds and sparringly give us 3 pieces approximately 2x2cm each and one tiny size of crisp. Also, after the event, we found out that the food freebies of the lechon brought were not endorsed. 2. Some of our family and friends were asked to pay 50 pesos if they wanted to take away food from the catering when in fact they were also endorsed with microvable containers for those who wanted to take home food. These are two main things that we have notice after event. In my opinion, it is a good place to stay for unwinding but not for events. Very bad experience with in house catering.

i didnt expected that timberland was this beautiful place! its a hidden gem and our newest favorite staycation. we enjoyed the food, service, location and everything specially a slow morning activities! will definetely come back!

The property sit on top of the mountain in San Mateo, Rizal. This is very close to Quezon City and Marikina. It has this Tagaytay like ambiance and cooler temperature vs in Metro Manila. The rooms are not bad, but not spcetacular just at par with the price. They give some amenities but not complete. Water is self serve on the dispensers outside the hallways. The property is quite isolated and thus most likely you will be force to eat in their 2 restaurants which are quite pricey. Breakfast is 1000 a pax which is quite expensive for the amount of food available. Overall, its a good pick for a quick getaway from Manila less the stress on going to more popular resorts like in Tagaytay.

My stay at the hotel was really nice, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was absolutely great!

It's really great to stay at timberland as expected and as always. My wife and i enjoyed our stay even if only a short period of time because of the 711 MTB event. We will be coming back definitely to spend our weekends. Kudos to the heart warming staffs too. Thank you ❤️
