Central Glasgow|1.17km from downtownI went there to treat my bfriend for his bday and I was promised that there will be a prosecco in the room as I called the day before but upon checking by Miss Shannon never mentioned anything, she seemed to be very busy and she did not give us the best welcome to be honest. When we went in the room, there was nothing and the room was not the best, it seemed that the room was allocated upon arrival so not the first beginning! it was a quiet room but really boring decoration and small and the bed very uncomfortable. Very disappointed and also the sink tap in the room was broken, the internet in the room was very slow and we couldn’t put youtube or kind of and 1 lamp was not working. I informed reception before we left but we came back everything was the same so I requested to be moved and we were upgraded immediately to the 11th floor and much better room definitely! The bfast was very nice and the staff very helpful even though they forgot my omelette, Miss Chloe was very friendly. The breakfast chef was very professional and made sure the buffet was always with food. I had a pleasant stay in the end as the swimming pool is a bonus. This hotel reminds me when I was working in hospitality years ago as everyone seems to be very busy and stressed around but they smiled you on the way.
