The room size and decoration were good. The bed was super comfy and the washroom was clean and well equipped. Suggestions: 1) If facilities (gym and pool) can open till later time (rather than most closed at 9pm). 2) The room was a bit too dark for me and missing some desk area - since I was on a business trip that I want to work sometimes in the room. Here is my appreciation to the reception and the concierge staffs, who have been very helpful in getting/arranging taxi for me a couple of times during my 4 days stay. Thank you!

The location is very ideal and convenient. The view is nice. However, the hotel is very old and run down, the toilet had creepy crawlies coming out from the walls. I would rather you pay more to stay in a hotel which has better hygiene standards.

The location of the hotel is good and the suite is very big. There are also 2 bathrooms available for the 2 bedroom suites which makes it much more convenient. 1 thing that can be further improved would be the cleanliness of the hotel. The carpet was wet when we checked in and there are also food (?) stains on the carpet in one of the room. Overall it is a great stay and I would return again.

The room was very comfortable. Was offered to upgrade to a bigger room with a bathtub at a price, glad we did although the bathtub was missing. The swimming pool however could do with a heater. The guests would appreciate swimming without shivering. But this is great for parents as it will be effortless to pull out their children from hours of playing in the water. The dining hall 'Lime' was great. Seats were comfortable. The breakfast spread however could a bit better, easily overshadowed by other smaller hotels. Could have a halal section or menu could be muslim friendly. The muslims are willing to spend. Market research should be done. Check out other muslim friendly restaurants at the orchard belt. They are packed daily. Overall, a great stay, albeit the shortfalls, the staff more than makes up for it.

Always worth the money to book the parkroyal club, free usage of the lounge freefree flow of food and drinks from 6pm-8pm Wife brought me for a birthday getaway got free delicious cake! If other hotel, the cake given probably like left over and not fresh. Service by the lounge staff were all friendly, even though kids are not allowed in the lounge, we can still bring the food to our room! The gym, pool and the Ginger restaurant all tip top and satisfactory! We will visit here again for sure! Location very strategic with lots of eatery just across the road.

Not super duper clean I saw a few strands of hair in the sink and towels were a little stained (which was changed upon request) overall the toilet cleanliness is decent 3.5/5 however the room is super worth it. The staff are also very friendly and gave us a high floor upon request. Location is great as there’s many food places including a beautiful park and temple. 7/11 as well. With a mall that had all the essentials. We also had some issues which caused some noise and they came in to check first if everything is okay before giving us a warning. I loved that they were caring before doing their duty although they didn’t have to! Thank you for your service. For the price I’ll definitely come back 😉

Long queue at check-in because there are big tour groups from Indonesia and India. Roy at Front Desk was patient and did the check in for me very quickly. Even upgraded to Executive Floor noting that it’s my birthday staycay. However, the tv signal is very lousy. Not stable and always hanged. Got their technician to come but couldn’t fix it. Only told to restart the adaptor but problem never solved. Called operator again but subsequently never send anyone over to fix the tv. Displeased. Breakfast is another disappointment too. Spread is average and quality is mediocre. Should have go out for breakfast instead. Love their “green” initiative where we can top up drinking water at various temperature and various quantity at every floor. No more plastic bottles. 👍🏻

(1.Size and cleanliness of the room) 1.The room size for a premium balcony is average not too big or small. Can fit about 3 adults comfortably. Would recommend to book a bigger room if you are bringing kids. table at the balcony at a hole and the floor was unkept. Little speck of dust flying around. No sippers were provided so if you are walking bare Foot be prepared for an unpleasant feeling of the sticky somewhat slimly floor. Over all 4.5/10 (2. Customer service) 2. Customer service was not really up to standard. When I greeted the counter staff after waiting on line for almost 30 minutes I got back a blank look. Understood the staff was a trainee but the first thing you should always do is greet back. It was chaotic at the check in Lobby. Overall 3.5/10 It was a good stay I will recommend everyone to try it and feel for themselves. This is my personal opinion. So have a great new year 🎇

Simple staycay. Location was the best. Love the design of the place and love the gym the most! The decor is inspiring. The room is pretty small for my room type. No shower curtain so water gets to the toilet bowl area. No mini fridge in the room too but has a safe. Overall, nice hotel to stay in.

Stayed at LYF funan for the first time. It was a easy check in as the front desk staff gave clear instructions. I was lucky to score a larger room for the disabled but it had a connecting door. Lucky, it was a quiet stay despite World Cup season. There’s a small work out area on the 5th floor with free weights and some simple cycling machines. The treadmill is special like a hamster wheel design. The pool is part of the mall’s gym and not assessable from the hotel. The shared kitchen on the 4th floor was not bad as I was able to store my food in full sized fridge which was not so full. Although there was expired food still in there. I was also able to heat up food using the microwave or use the pot to cook noodles. Not many utensils available. There was two cleaning ladies who were rather rude, always eyeing me and pointing out that I cannot use this utensil to cook as they deemed it not appropriate. One of them also used a gloved hand to touch my plate with food which I felt disgusted by as the glove was obviously used. There was no TV in the room but I brought my laptop so could still watch shows. There’s a dart machine at the lobby which had cheap games which was fun and the location was really good, easy to get food and get around. Would recommend and would check out the other LYF properties in SG as well.
