The environment of the homestay is very good, and the sanitation is very clean. There is a complete kitchen and condiments in the communal kitchen. There is a big yard for drying clothes. The housekeeper is very nice. The boss I happened to meet was the boss wife. In the morning, they drove us to the pier. There is also breakfast. Really great value for money. I changed 3 hotels in 7 days in Sabah, and this one is the most comfortable and cleanest. Same as my own home.

During our first few days in town, we had to wake up early every morning, pack, rush through our itinerary, and return exhausted in the evening, aching all over. But a water bungalow stay is a whole different story. Each morning, you wake up to boundless ocean views. Sunrises and sunsets are yours to savor whenever you wish. Lounging on the balcony, chatting with friends, or cuddling with your partner under the sun – *that's* the essence of a perfect vacation!
Our choice of Lelebang Water Bungalow this time was incredibly worthwhile! The value for money is outstanding! While it might not be as bustling as traditional water bungalow resorts, it was precisely this tranquility that my travel companions and I absolutely adored. Plus, the price was surprisingly only half of what those other resorts charge! We later visited a water bungalow on Mabul Island (Mabul Water Bungalow Resort), which was certainly larger, but also very crowded, and cost two to three times more than Lelebang!
The water bungalow also thoughtfully provides three meals a day. Breakfast is buffet style, offering a wide variety like stir-fried noodles, sandwiches, and cereals, catering to different tastes. Lunch and dinner are even more sumptuous. For two people, it's typically four dishes and one soup, including two or three seafood options, paired with refreshing and delicious green vegetables. Everything was fresh, tasty, and utterly satisfying!
I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone visiting Semporna experiences a stay in a water bungalow! Even if it's just for one day, you'll gain a truly unique experience!

The hotel's strongest point is a comfortable and well-designed pool. Unfortunately, this is the end of the pluses.
Breakfast - the choice seems to be large, but everything is focused on the Chinese, so a European / American does not have much to eat. It's good that at least there is an egg station.
Front desk procedures - even though the hotel was almost empty, we were told to wait three hours for the room. A deposit of RM 200 per day is charged at check-in - cash only, no card guarantee. When checking out, you have to wait at the front desk until the housekeeping checks if you have stolen anything from the room. If you lose the document confirming the deposit - they will not return your money.
Finally, probably the most annoying thing - the card scanning system in the elevators - we sometimes spent long minutes trying to press the floor key in the elevator, usually it ended with asking for help from the reception. This is absolutely unacceptable.
There is too much to improve here to be able to say that the hotel is worth the price.

**Cleanliness:** Unlike what some other reviews mentioned, we didn't encounter any water snakes or bugs at night.
**Environment:** Superb!
**Service:** Excellent! In the evenings, there was karaoke and sea fishing available, both were a lot of fun.
Overall, everything was excellent. I'd even say it was the best experience in Semporna, second only to scuba diving. Highly recommended! I've already suggested it to many colleagues and hope to have the chance to visit again someday!

The resort is so amazing that I wish I could keep it a secret rather than share it with you. Located in the middle of the sea, with no other structures around, you can easily enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and the starry sky every day. During the daytime, you can participate in various water sports, and if you're lucky, you might spot a sea turtle at night.
**Food:**
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included when you book the hotel, so there’s no need to worry about meals. The resort offers seafood and local cuisine daily. Please note: Visitors should bring their own snacks and drinks before boarding the resort, as it only provides water, coffee, and tea.
**Facilities & Service:**
All the staff here will treat you kindly, even if there might be a language barrier (English is spoken here!). If you're afraid of swimming, the staff will accompany you while you're in the sea (life jackets are provided in each room). Each room also has a balcony with a lounge chair where you can relax, grab a beer, and do nothing but enjoy the soothing sea breeze.
You may not want to stay in the middle of nowhere like I did to escape from modern civilization, but I truly recommend staying at the resort for at least 2 nights. You'll definitely feel completely recharged!
Finally, I want to say that the view is so astonishing that I can hardly describe it with my limited English. You must visit this place yourself.

3. It is 15 minutes away from the town or the pier without traffic jams, and 25 minutes with traffic jams. Between 8 am and 8 pm, free pick-up and drop-off are available at any time, and the time is almost the same. If there is more deviation, 50 Malaysian ringgits will be charged each time, but it is safe and the vehicle is in good condition, so it is worth it.
4. The restaurant can arrange for the processing of seafood, and the vehicle will be sent to buy, then picked up, and then processed. The taste of the seafood is very good, not worse than the pier restaurant. The processing fee is also transparent and fair.
5. I felt unwell one day, and I arranged a vehicle to take me to buy medicine in time. I came back and made a vegetable noodle soup with eggs as required. It was very comfortable to eat. Although it was a little expensive, I was grateful. See the attached picture 55 Malaysian ringgit.
6. I feel that the hotel is a group hotel, which is quite powerful. The restaurant is very large and equipped with five vans. I heard that there are more and bigger plans in the future. There are also many service staff and their attitude is also good.
Here are some of the shortcomings I encountered:
1. The hotel confirmed the order by email, and the name and date were sent incorrectly. I contacted by email twice later, but no one responded. At present, the Malaysian customs is friendly to Chinese people and has not checked.
2. You need to contact in advance for airport pick-up. Please remind me in the reply email and clearly provide contact information, preferably WeChat account.
3. Set a fixed WeChat number for the service butler. There are five butlers in the service group. I really don’t know who to contact if there is a problem.
4. The bath towels were changed twice during the five-day stay. During the period, I asked to clean the floor, but it was never cleaned.
5. During the period, there was one time when a vehicle was needed to pick up the car, and the waiting time was as long as 70 minutes. During the period, the reason was not informed in time. I stood at the door of KFC for 50 minutes. If I had informed you in time, I could have taken a rest nearby.
6. The hotel is still a little far from the pier and town, but the shuttle service compensates for it. However, the price is still slightly high, the price is the same as the Sheraton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and the cost performance is not very good.

The hosts were nice and provide complete transportation for pick-up and returens to the airport.
The workers are helpful and will try to communicate with you in English or Mandarin.
In the resort, we did fishing, snorkeling and kayaking.
We were lucky see marine life such as jelly fish, lion fish, sea turtles, coral reefs, and other underwater features around the island.
We are definetly going to visit the resort again someday.
