|1.12km from downtownStayed here for 6 days. My double room was large with a wardrobe, dressing table, chairs, fridge... Pls note that there is no elevator here - based on my observation, staff may or may not offer to help with your luggage. When I checked in, the female staff did not show me to my room or offer to help with luggage but few days later when a Caucasian couple with 2 large luggage came, she offered help and walked them to their room. The room seemed clean but the floor was dusty - my feet were black from walking around after a while. Wifi is great and AC works fine too. There is free breakfast - mainly porridge with some meat (pork?), some buns and fruit with coffee, juice. Simple and functional. What is great: large rooms, large bed, great location near shops, night market and restaurants. Not so great: no lift, limited breakfast variety, stingy on toilet paper, construction works nearby One highlight was the really sweet staff - they try their best to get you what you need (my room had a wardrobe but no hangers) and are always smiling and considerate. Would recommend if you are ok with climbing stairs and have small luggage.

|0.83km from downtownMy family and I stayed here for our last 2 nights in Vientiane and we were not disappointed. Upon checking in we were greeted by refreshing cold drinks. The check in process was incredibly smooth. The hotel staff helped us move our bags to our two adjoining rooms. Our rooms overlooked the garden/pond and was extremely cozy. I only wished we had stayed longer. The pool was amazing! I found it rare to get deep pool that is swimmable in Laos and Thailand and this one did not disappoint! It was perfect. We were able to get poolside service too. We also dined at the restaurant and our dinner and drinks were great. It is hard to find nice cocktails in SEA outside of the major hotels and Green Park’s dry martini did not disappoint. My parents liked the hotel so much they even joined us the following night and rented their own room right next to ours. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back to stay here since we have family in Laos. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

|1.16km from downtownPerfect location for me as it's not crowded but afew min walk and the busy market near Mekong is there for all kinds of recreations. As per Laos standard, the staffs seem to be doing well but there's no way that they are ready to be a typical tourist scenes like Bangkok.

|0.64km from downtownBig, smoky seedy smelly molded rooms. We walked in and booked cuz we were on an 8 hours bike trip and it makes us tired. Later we realized that it was almost double (we paid 595k), I saw the rate on google review and it was 360k, fine we know online booking is cheaper. The reception kept asking for paying with USD instead of Lao which I didn’t like it at all. He charged me finally more then official exchange rate. The breakfast was okay in terms of choices but it was a huge disappointment cuz all items were cold, I asked for a hot tea and finally the restaurant manager approached me and bring me a hot tea. All and all, with this room rate, you can definitely find better options. It was a NO for me

|0.82km from downtownI returned to Vientiane after a long trip and just wanted somewhere to lay my head. I didn’t need a pool etc as it was a quick overnight before the flight. The bloom cafe hotel was fabulous for this. Room lovely clean. There were no views but this didn’t bother me. Breakfast was fine. I had eggs and a croissant downstairs. All good for a quick stop over and very reasonable.

|0.65km from downtownThe Nam Phou Park is just < 1 minute away. The hotel is near the night market and next to the police station :D The room was decent, and the staffs were friendly! They did arrange to pick up and drop off from the train station. You can book the service at the front desk one day before your departure day. Our most memorable moment was when the staff used Patio Umbrella to shade us from the car to the hotel while it was raining. Thank you Ibis Nam Phou team!

|3.75km from downtownI made a reservation because it included airport pick-up, welcome fruit, and breakfast.
I chose this hotel because it is far from tourist attractions but close to the airport.
I made a pickup reservation in advance and received driver and vehicle information.
However, there was no driver at the airport, and after calling the hotel 3 times, I was able to get a pick-up taxi after waiting 40 minutes. If you don't speak Chinese, you won't be able to communicate. If I had known it would take this long, I would have chosen a hotel close to the tourist attractions.
The employee didn't say a word of apology.
I couldn't even see the welcome fruit.
The location is located in Chinatown. There is a large supermarket nearby.
The room looked spacious and clean, but the bedding was not.

|0.67km from downtownMy wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room on the 3rd floor. The guest house is a good location right in the heart of Vientiane. The room was spacious, clean and had good lighting. The staff there are very friendly always greeting my wife and I with a smile. The bed was wide but a little on the hard side for me. My only complaint is that the guest house does not have an elevator, so dragging your luggage up 3 flights of stairs might turn into a physical fitness test. Also rooms are not soundproof so if you are awaken easily by noises don't choose a room with balcony instead choose a room in the interior of the building.

|3.29km from downtownThe stay at this hotel was perfect. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt the incomparable warmth and enthusiasm. The lobby is elegantly decorated, the staff smiles, and the service is thoughtful and meticulous, making people feel like spring breeze. Especially the front desk staff, the check-in procedure is efficient and fast, and they patiently answer various questions, providing me with a lot of practical suggestions, so that the newcomer I will soon familiarize myself with the surrounding environment.

|0.76km from downtownStay in a hotel with a long history and feel the changes of time. It is said to be the Governor's Palace during the French colonial period, conveying a retro and elegant atmosphere and fatal attraction. It can be seen that the owner is doing his best to maintain its beauty, and the services are all in English. It does not prevent you from feeling that the entire hotel is eager to please every guest. The location is great. It is 6 kilometers from the airport and takes about 10 minutes to take a TAXI. It is also very close to the Laos Arc de Triomphe and the National Cultural Museum. You can walk to Foreigner Street or the night market. It only lasts a few minutes, but it brings you a kind of tranquility isolated from the world...

|2.29km from downtown1. The front desk service of the hotel is warm and thoughtful, and all the problems raised are solved attentively. Although the hotel is a little far from the airport, hotel pick-up and drop-off is very convenient. The surrounding area near the Arc de Triomphe is full of Southeast Asian style. The overall environment is warm and quiet, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Will choose next time.

|2.45km from downtownOur tuk tuk driver couldn’t find it, but we had a good tour of the city at no extra cost! It’s located on a side ride from where the night market is along the river. Close enough for the market, bars and restaurants, but not too close that any noise affects your rest and relaxation. Good well priced massages are also available along the riverside. About the hotel, clean rooms and bedding, towels, friendly and helpful staff. Only holding 3 stars, I suppose it was to be expected that there were cups and a kettle in the room, but no tea, coffee, etc. There wasn’t any soap in the bathroom either, but a couple more steps to the shower gel dispenser solved that issue. Their literature says ‘jacuzzi inspired’ pool, that’s a nod to the size, more of a plunge pool I would suggest. Irrelevant really as it wasn’t the clearest water, and the surrounding hedge meant it was constantly covered with fallen leaves. Lose the hedge, paint the walls and it would be an improvement. Breakfast was adequate but if you’re vegetarian, be prepared to have eggs, eggs and more eggs. Bottom line… very well priced, fabulous staff, but don’t be misled by the photos on their website. If you’re a morning bird, the monks walk barefoot around the neighbourhood, collecting what I believe to be money, then chant a blessing on those offering tithes.

It's quiet because it's not a tourist area, and the room has a washing machine and balcony, so it's great for long-term stays. |1.01km from downtownI decided to try this new hostel as a budget alternative. It is dormitory style, in a kind of mini-cube design, like Japanese hostels I have read about, but with curtains instead of secure doors.
On the plus side: Everything was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The plumbing all worked. The reception area is a nice coffee bar with good food, coffee and tea and good WiFi internet and a nice loop of current music by the original artists. There is also a 4th floor balcony to watch the sunrise.
On the minus side:
There were no power outlets in the reception area. (But there are two in each cubiicle.) The shower had no hooks or rack to hang a towel or clothes.
The cubicles have no secure door, just a curtain. (But there is a separate locker for each cubicle to secure luggage and valuables.) There was no hot water for coffee available early before 6:00 am. And the sleeping area was refrigirated to about 20 degrees C (but the comforter was nice and warm all night).
I might try it again, and I will definitely be back to enjoy the coffee.

|1.28km from downtownWe stayed here the last two nights of our 2-week stay in Laos. We were on the fourth floor and had a lovely view of the Night Market and Mekong River from our spacious balcony. Despite the hustle below us, the room was quiet. The breakfast had ample fresh choices and the staff opened it early for us since we had an early flight. In every instance, the staff bent over backward to help us. The hotel is located in an area with coffee shops, restaurants, and tourist shops and galleries.

The hotel is booked online, but pays cash at the front desk and does not support credit card and Alipay payments. The room has air conditioning, the toilet and shower are separate and common. The hardware is very simple, but the bed linen is very white, it should be the newly purchased cloth. Breakfast, bananas, bread, coffee, tea, and a simple breakfast buffet are available.

|0.96km from downtownThe service in the hotel is average. The hotel has only been open for a year or so! It's probably because of the low-quality furniture from China, and there's a strong smell of painted furniture. I'm very sensitive to this. After staying for one night, I didn't want to stay in the room. It smelled too bad and could cause cancer. The hotel has a safe, and the bedding is very clean. Because I have sensitive skin, it will itch if I come into contact with unclean bedding.

|4.89km from downtownWe drove from vientiane all the way there and back so when we got there saw a vacant parking spot right in front of the entrance, tried to back in security guards come tap on my window and says you can't park there. He says thats for the vip’s but there was no sign or anything. Then we went inside got to the counter were we suppose to check in. The girls at the check we nice and welcoming but a bit slow, good thing we could check in at around 12:30. Unfortunately we booked 5 standard single king beds and ended up with 2 kings and 3 twins so paying 400,000 kip for each room. So check in was all done, walked past the slots got in the lift then up to the room. Bit of a smell in the lift, rooms looked quite old. Tv didnt work. Aircon was nice and cold. The bed was to springy you could fell the springs. Bed side table even had burnt marks on it. Pricing of the mini bar and the in room dining was pretty reasonable. The bathroom was small and somehow the person who designed the shower must be a complete *****, so basically the shower stuck on the wall but the pipes run across the top of the glass and out side of the glass, so you have to reach your arm out turn it on then get in, slide the doors close which then i felt like a can of sardines. So what could i say 400,000 kip was just a place to sleep put your head down for one night. Dansavanh golf course is bery nice and challenging, a very scencic and relaxing course. ****** not so much variety of games to play. You cant even place cash at the table and then buy in chips. I was told be the dealer at the table to walk and change it into chips at the cashiers booth. So it was quite annoying. Only had 1 blackjack table. They didnt even have pontoon, poker, craps, or ****** war just missing the variety of fun. So a basic weekend went by dont expect anything from the ****** and hotel no quite good. I would not go back again. Golf was fantastic. Next time just come real early in the morning for golf and go back to vientine in the afternoon.
