Thank you InterContinental Singapore for a wonderful stay, with an extra special thank you to Mann Rahmat (the concierge) who could not do enough for us to make our stay as special as possible to celebrate a birthday & anniversary, with Mann arranging cakes and a bottle of wine on behalf of the staff. Yes, there are many great hotels in Singapore (you’d struggle to find a bad one!) but the InterContinental had that old feel of opulence with its colonial architecture and sitting right of top of Bugis MRT interchange meant your had the rest of what wonderful Singapore had to offer only a train ride away. ♥️

The hotel is conveniently located with many eateries just nearby! On the first night, I stayed on the top floor and there was some noise. I gave feedback to the hotel staff, and they kindly changed my room to the 5th floor the next day. The new room was very clean and comfortable! Only downside is that the TV had just one channel available.

Good place because near street foods (a bit expensive, but many choices). Room for two people is ok, but 3 people’s too small when u have luggage difficult to walk. Can’t early check in (even though just half hour early check in). No daily clean room and water refill for second day (ask them they said need to request??? What we book 2 night, why everything need to request? And if needs to request, why u not inform when we check in?)… other is ok.

Guy on the night shift was super nice and helpful. Efficient in settling us for check in. Room was okay, aircon was quite noisy. But at least at this ST we do not have to climb up to our bed. Downside of this ST was that there is no fridge in the room, thankfully the cook lab has 1. Cups has to be taken from cook lab. At least the cleaning here is much more better than the ST jalan besar. Much quieter. Would stay here again. Thank you for the stay

I think the facilities are worth the price. The elevator was under construction, so I took the back stairs to the 6th floor. The room is very small, but I think this is a good hotel for those who want to stay overnight without meals at a low price. There is a shower at the entrance to the toilet, and the toilet is behind it, so when you take a shower, the entrance is blocked and the floor of the toilet is flooded with water.

1. The soundproofing in the room was absolutely terrible. I initially thought there was a huge group of people next door, only to find out it was just two Korean women in the adjacent room and across the hall. Good heavens, two people managed to create the racket of an entire army! It was incredibly loud. They were up all night, constantly moving between rooms, slamming doors, and talking. It was unbelievably, excessively, *extremely* loud. 2. The rooms are on the smaller side. A standard room is perfectly fine for a solo traveler, but it would feel quite cramped for two adults. 3. The hotel promotes eco-friendly practices by offering filtered drinking water, so no bottled mineral water is provided. 4. The toiletries provided were quite dated, and the towels, including bath towels, were old and worn out.

Fell in love the moment I walked into this place. The reception area is very welcoming and calm. Check-in and check-out are both very simple and quick, and everything is digital. You don't need a key nor a card, all you need is to check-in yourself then you will have a passcode to enter your room, really advanced. I love the rooms and the entire place, so chill and calm. Toilet and showers are kept clean always; rooms are very clean and felt very new as well. Breakfast on the 5th floor is simple yet not lacking. There is laundry service as well. I did not get to explore everything, but I believe there is more in this very special place. I would not even think twice to book here again if I ever come back to Singapore.

As the name suggests, this is a capsule hotel with a futuristic, almost space-like atmosphere. However, when you open the door, you’ll find toilets and showers with the feel of an old downtown area—a fascinating blend of eras. Be careful with timing in the morning: if you try to use the toilet while cleaning is underway, the bowl will be soaking wet. I didn’t have a Singapore-specific three-prong plug, but thankfully there were two USB ports, which came in handy. The shower and toilet are combined, and it’s not always clear which is shampoo and which is body soap—but trying it out can be an interesting experience. One of them smells like petroleum. Wishing you a wonderful journey in Singapore!

It's right smack in Little India! Probably the most vibrant area in SG! Colourful tirades of friendly people, eateries that offer savoury authentic Indian food and endless shophouses that offer almost every basic I need are all within walking distance. The Hostel itself is never a bad place. For the price I paid for my stay, it does offer the most basics that I need for those days I was there. The daytime staff are all friendly and approachable, always willing to offer assistance when I need one. The hostel could do much better if they have a staff on duty for the night, though.

The service was pretty good. The accommodation is in a combined restaurant downstairs and rooms upstairs. The environment is nice, newly renovated. Another guy couldn't stand it and left, haha. I also felt it was a bit too much. I hope the owner can improve ventilation. Luckily, the air conditioning was always on ventilation mode. After ordering, you can just go to the first floor and find a staff member. Cleanliness: Clean. Disposable toiletries are self-service. Facilities: Complete. Charging stations are readily available. Environment: There is a separate rest area outside the accommodation, which is a plus. Service: Chinese is available, and if not, they use a translator. They are friendly to Chinese people. Facilities: The air conditioning is set to 24 degrees Celsius. The central air conditioning cannot be adjusted, so this temperature is OK. There are also small electric fans outside that you can bring in. The breakfast was excellent. You can choose your own, and there's also a free snack buffet. This is very cost-effective. I hope the owner continues to maintain this level of quality.

This bohemian hostel has no lift, it’s a very small packed shop house, turned into backpackers hostel. Only stairs. My room was on the top floor which was the 3rd floor. Bathroom and were toilet 2nd floor. So lots of walking. There were locker we can keep but when taking our things from locker only the caretaker could take them for us, The bathroom is a toilet converted to be a toilet cum bathroom. The hostel has 4 rooms, each with 10 beds. 40 beds in 4 rooms but only two bath rooms for everybody. The bathroom floor slippery funno how long no cleaning service. Towels were given only upon request. No changing of bedsheets. pls dnt use my name or your name just write An Asians review. Breakfast first day only toast, coffee and tea. Very few people join breakfast.

Service: We arrived at the guesthouse at 11 PM that night. The hotel staff was a foreign guy, and since our English wasn't great, he thoughtfully used a translation app to tell us about the important details and even personally escorted us to get water. We were really touched by that. Overall, considering how expensive land is in Singapore, this room offers pretty good value for money. It's also quite close to the subway station, making it easy to find.

The establishment is very accommodating. Request for early check in was granted . Location of the hotel is just a stone throw from Clarke Quay MRT .. with that . Travelling around the island is a breeze . Request for Room service was promptly met . Salute . I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is excellent — right between great shopping spots and plenty of nice restaurants, so it was very convenient to walk around and explore. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The bed was especially cozy, and I had a very good rest throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. Hotel not clean that much, hv low price, near bus stop ( walk for 3 minutes) and near lots of restaurant. Understanding that this hotel is for budget trip, when compare with the price & cleaning. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a very close bus stop. The room is new but doesn't smell at all, unlike some rooms in China that still have a strong odor even after a year of renovation. I used to think capsule rooms would be cramped, but this one was really great—clean, bright, and tidy, which surprised me. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and spoke Chinese. Hotel front lack of staff, only 1 staff available all the time. There was an indian girl at the counter, when i checked in, she was very courteous and helpful. Next day left hotel at 7.30am, came back at 9pm to find my door was opened. Thankfully my valuables were not in the room but still, i had 2 luggage bags in the room and even if it was taken by someone, the hotel staff wont even know. Upon highlighting this, hotel staff at the front desk, an Indian guy said he will give the feedback to the housekeeping. 🤷🏻♀️

Very clean facilities, complimentary breakfast despite what the website says (fruit and bread). A little bit inconvenient as it’s not amazingly close to an mrt zhan, but still centrally located. There is the issue of that guy who lives there and thinks he owns the place, but he didn’t bother me a whole lot. Think of him as a really quirky traveler, and you’ll be fine. Overall solid place would stay again.

Located in the very heart of Little India, surprisingly, it felt relatively safe, surrounded by Indians. The hotel is new and the price is quite cheap for Singapore. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but almost all of them serve Indian food. The room was tiny, and I felt like there were small insects on the bed; I got many small red bites all over my body, which were very itchy. The soundproofing was poor, and the front desk was very slow. Because of the poor soundproofing, I would be startled awake by people suddenly returning home in the middle of the night. If your budget allows, it's not worth the sacrifice.

Booked the hotel during a non peak period and it was one of the hotels that is conveniently located along Orchard Road with bathtubs available (the 2 criterias that I was looking out for). I was very lucky to get a corner room that is super spacious and comfy! The bed is large and soft and all basic amenities were provided. Hotel staffs are also really friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. Would be my top choice for my next staycay! :)

The Transit Hotel is incredibly cold. The rooms remind me of the remnants of the old sovet style communit who placed and importance l on privacy. The upshot is that you will be jetlagged and will be able to acllimstise to the dark and harsh condition rooms. Theres a small gym outside for avid runners and also have a small selection of delicacies for travellers to eat and take with before their flight departs. The showers and toilets are clean.

Enjoy my stay (one night only). Overall experience of my room is 8 / 10 for budget hotel. I had a good sleep: mattress, pillows and blanket are OK. Lucky to have a room away from lift lobby. However my room has no fridge, no hair dryer, no sandals, no locker safe, no hand towel. However I love the surrounding amenities, easy to find food, drinks and snacks from convenient store. Very good location, get to explore nearby tourist attraction like Sultan Mosque.

Before I arrived, I had high expectations. Overall was barely satisfactory as facilities were minimal and staff service was ok but clearly not well trained. The foul smell in the water dispenser was shocking. I bought Fiji water for entire one week stay. Deeply concerned the water dispenser was not hygienic. Staff know their work but service is not in their DNA. If positioning is 3 star then it is fine. If room rate is cheap, I will come again. Many choices in the vicinity.

Mary, Maica, and Carms were excellent team that help me in everything that I requested, thanks to all of them. The room was quiet at night even it is in China Town. Plenty good restaurants, near to two SMRT stations, ”China town” and ”Maxwell”, The cleans of the room was amazing and in the same floor you can wash and dry your clothes free or charge. The cooking stuff enough to cook a regular meal. Decent Internet speed. Easy check in and out. quick to revert the deposit to my credit card. Overall wonderful stay
