Good but aging hotel, about 20 minutes easy walk to the harbour. Super comfortable and wide bed, very good breakfast. We were completely satisfied. Due to high humidity, you can't get your bathing suits dry on the balcony, even clothes in the suitcase got a bit of moisture - but it's not the hotel's fault.

Pleasant motel with nice extra touches. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets and throws if needed. Efficient aircon and plenty of space in the apartment. Kitchenette was very useful and there are excellent takeaways nearby. I expect the parking can be tight, but we didn’t have a car so not an issue for us. We used the pool, which was a reasonable size, very clean and comfortable temperature. Very clean apartment, kitchenette had been refurbished more recently than the bathroom which was looking a little tired, but plenty of hot water and pressure was good. Wifi was excellent and staff efficient and helpful. We arrived early from the airport and they stored our bags until check in time. We found it good value for money.

The room here was good but we decided quite quickly to leave as the regular clientele were getting noisier and it was only 4pm.There were a lot of people loitering and apparently they were asked to leave by management. Also had a family member who had booked a room only to be told his room had an issue with the plumbing and it was suggested he sleep in our room, we should have left then in retrospect not 1 1/2 later

Staff are marvellous. Go the extra yards to accommodate you. Clean, off street parking, laundry and easy walking to all things in the heart of Csirns. 100m to the Cock n Bull Hotel, BWS, several take aways, gym, restaurants. Ill be back again snd agsin.

Hotel location is good, there is a water park opposite. It's not too far to walk to the city center. There is a charge for parking, and residents are unavoidable. It is okay to go in and out for 13 Australian dollars a day.

The photos provided by the operators are extremely deceptive. The accomodation is old and run down. The shower tiles were painted at some stage, and it is now peeling off both the floor and the walls. The “updated” vanity basin and tap are poorly sizes and you are unable to fully wash your face due to the shape and size of the basin with a shorter necked faucet . There is no complete enclosure for water in the shower resulting in you flooding the bathroom each time you shower- we ended up using the common showers in the passageway to attempt keep our room dry. The toilet paper is only single ply so bring your own if you decide to stay here !! Our towels and sheets had stains on them and the pillows are flat and lumpy. I wouldn’t swim in the pool unless you’ve had your latest tetanus shots. We were followed back to the accommodation by a slightly hostile homeless person one night which was slightly unnerving for our teenage daughters. The nicest part of this accommodation is the outdoor BBQ area. The breakfast provided smelt ok, but we decided to eat at the cafe at the marina each day as we were heading out to the reef and islands anyways. We decided to stay here and save money as generally we are out during the day and only need a comfortable bed and a clean shower- next time we will be going back to our regular accommodation closer to the Esplanade. wir kamen gegen 9:30 in dem Hotel an. leider gab es nichts mehr zu essen und auch das gebuchte Zimmer machte einen renovierungsbedüftigen Eindruck. Nachdem wir am anderen Tag von einer anstrengenden Tour zurückkamen, mussten wir leider feststellen das hier kein Housekeeping stattgefunden hat. Alles sah aus wie morgens verlassen. Diskussion mit Desk brachten nur neue Handtücher und sonst nix. Tischlampen verrostet und old fashion zimmer. Internetauftritt verspricht mehr als wirklich da ist. Für eine Übernachtung gut und dann am besten andres Hotel

Because the room was set up late, it was settled the night before the trip. I thought someone would pick up when I got off the plane. It turned out that I needed to book one day in advance, and I felt very upset. However, the subsequent services, facilities, and breakfast were very good and the hygiene was very good. It's just that there are more mosquitoes in Cairns, so you can sit down and prepare in advance, or you can spray the insect medicine in the store. The pool was clean and changing water frequently (I saw the water change after staying for four nights). The attitude of the boss was very good, the keys were lost, and I rushed over in the middle of the night without any complaints, thank you very much! !!
