The car was a bit old, with 150,000 kilometers, but the price was definitely the best value for money; maybe we booked a bit late. They gave us a Mitsubishi of the same size instead of a RAV4.
They had Chinese-speaking service, which was great for new drivers who were still getting used to it. However, extending the rental wasn't convenient. The insurance we paid for through Ctrip couldn't be extended to include local insurance, which was strange. I suspect it's because the mileage was too high, and the local insurance company wouldn't cover it. This was a bit annoying; it took us ages to return the car and then walk to another rental location to pick it up. It was frustrating, especially since our travel time was precious, and we hadn't planned our rental time well.
