This time I used Ctrip to book hotels during my trip in the United States. I compared priceline with booking and tripadviser. I found that Ctrip's offer is still quite competitive, and the information is basically accurate, including parking fees and whether meals are waiting. I rarely come back for reviews before. This time I will refer to the user reviews here before booking a room. I feel that it is generally relevant, so I also plan to spend some time to leave my personal feelings. Although subjective, I hope I have a little reference. On the way to Yosemite, I checked into the hotel on Christmas Eve, but I didn't feel any Christmas atmosphere. The hotel’s facilities are relatively new, the quilt is comfortable, the breakfast variety is acceptable, and drinks are available throughout the day as soon as you enter the lobby.

Because I went to Yosemite, I am here. Yosemite is still a short distance from the highway, but the sound is good, noisy, and the front desk is warm. I am worthy of this price. The city is surrounded by orchards and the natural scenery is beautiful.

My daughter and I had been driving for hours and arrived about 12:00 pm there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. There was a handwritten note that read “Be back out doing other things” then when a lady finally walked by and asked if we needed something, I told her we wanted to check in and she said check-in was at 3 and if we did it now there was a charge. I told her we would wait but asked if we could use the restroom and she said “No, restrooms are not for the public!”

I travel to Merced 1 or 2 times a month for the past two years from Los Angeles and have stayed here most of the time. Marriot is well known for it's customer service and there is plenty of it here in Merced. From booking the room, to quick check in's, and staying in my most favorite room it is always fast, effiecent and most importantly friendly. Early on they knew my name, had my rewards number on file and quickly booked the room over the phone or for the next month ahead at the best rates without having to fumble through the online process and double checking all the different rates offered by third party online stores. Additionally I might add the front desk services offered by Angel is some of the finest I have observed in 40 plus years of my adult life. Angel certainly is exceptional at his work and it seems to ”rub-off” on the other staff always cordial and willing and smiling to take on any new challenge I offer. For instance, the Jacuzzi most often is the perfect temperature for me to sooth my aching muscles in after a long day of work followed by a work out. One time the temperature was 1 or 2 degrees elevated and they all went to work to make the adjustments more comfortable so I could get the best benefit out of it. Whether it is service in the restaurant and bar, or housekeeping everyone seems on board to make the personal experience comfortable and if possible bring a smile to my face with a simple courtesy of asking how my day is going and if there is anything I need. I would say they are simply Angels here and I am grateful for his and their kind hospitality and plan to stay here each and every time I return to Merced to work or head of to Yosemite for a view of the world most can only imagine.

Quite impressed with this place. Stayed for four nights and was given complimentary upgrade from queen to king room. Very clean and comfortable room. TV with endless channels, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Carpet instead of usual hard flooring. Good location away from noise of freeway. Pleasant and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Merced Inn and Suites was Ramada Inn it's nice , with everything near by gas, grocery store with hot and cold deli's, CVS Pharmacy, and laundry short drive away. Easy access off 99 Merced exit Child's it's right behind the gas station. Main building has the 2 queen bed rooms upper and lower level. The lounge is nice , Mr. Desk Clerk Manager is pleasant as are the housekeeping staff. They are helpful and take needed time to clean rooms all stays are greeted by beds nicely made, rooms have had microwave ,fridge and coffee maker ready to use. The ironing board and iron in closet along with small safe. You'll be comfortable, king rooms are the building in the back side of those have sofa beds and are roomy. Everything that's on informational is here if missing just let them know someone will help. Imagine my surprise finding little soaps, shampoo and conditioner place nicely on bathroom counter and Kleenex too .these amenities in many places are not currently available they are here. I recommend a stay here you're two hours from everywhere you might be headed Central Valley CA Merced.

Clean and cost-effective, it is recommended! Next to it is KFC and the gas station. The breakfast is plentiful, the parking lot is large, the parking is free, and the front desk service is warm and thoughtful!
