When many people think of Sanchao-cho in Tottori Prefecture, the first thing they think of is "Michao Onsen" - a town full of ancient rhyme! Every evening, the streets under the lights are quiet and neat, even the air is a little nostalgic, whether it is the snow scenery or the hazy rainy night strolling, the whole town has its own poetry. This trip was particularly happy because I discovered that there is a must-visit "Spring Entertainment" in the hot springs left three mornings. It is full of fun and will really make people regain the happiness of childhood!

Must-see recommendation | Sanchao Hot Spring & Tongji Spring Entertainment Center

If you drive from Akitori, you will pass a very high mountain. So right I went in winter, it was sunny below, no snow, but up the mountain will even be a snow mountain, see a lot of snow, so immediately stopped to take a picture.

Michao Hot Spring
The most famous thing in Misocho is, of course, Miso Onsen! As one of the three largest hot springs in Japan, it is not only known for its healing spring quality, but the entire town is developed around the hot springs, with the Chinese architecture under the neon lights on both sides of the street and the local human touch. Winter time, occasional snow, slow walk which is super healing. Whether you are soaking in the hot spring alone and enjoying the tranquility.

Springs Entertainment
If you thought that the hot spring town only had hot spring bathing, you are actually totally wrong! There is a very special "Spring Entertainment" in the hot spring street, which is full of retro flavor. There are classic toys such as shooting guns and nostalgic booth games. You will completely relive the fun of the old temple! The most hilarious thing is that the boss is almost free-spirited management, reading the newspaper ignores you, you independently explore and play non-stop - suitable for slowing down and regaining childlike innocence. The price is affordable, you won't feel stressed after playing for an hour

Practical tips
- Recommended at night time to the hot spring street to enjoy the street view under the street lights, absolutely romantic and quiet.
- In case of snow, it is recommended to prepare an extra pair of non-slip shoes, the road is non-slip, walking comfortable and safe.
- In winter, the temperature is low. After playing at the Spring Entertainment Center, you can immediately go back to the hotel to soak in the soup to warm up.
- Just after booking the hot spring, you can reserve half an hour to "discover childishness" in the entertainment venue.

Transportation guide
Miso Onsen is from Tottori or Yonago Take the JR to Kurakichi Station, the station has a bus directly to Misato-cho. It takes about 25 minutes from Kurayoshi Station and the ticket costs about 400 yen, which is convenient and fast.

Food recommendations
There are many Japanese dim sum and snack bars on the hot spring street. It is recommended to try the hot spring eggs, authentic tofu hot pot, and the famous local black hair wagyu hot pot. Drinking a cup of hot matcha in the alley where cats and dogs hang out is also very romantic.
