it's small, but it's history.
Original Text
Although the mountain gate is small, it has a very historical and quaint one, and it is one of the highlights. It is said that it was built unknown, but it seems to be in the Kamakura period, so it is a very historic temple. Access is not very good, but bus use is convenient from Tsurumi station.
At the top of the mountain gate is a sculpture called Sajingoro.

Since it is one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Totsuka, I visited the shrine for the first time. The location was up the slope beside the Totsuka Fire Station. In front of the main hall, a small Jizo called "Lifting Jizo" was enshrined on the platform. To commemorate the worship, I brought back the lifting Jizo guard card.

There is a Shingon sect temple called Hozoin in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City. It is about 15 by bus from Tsurumi Station. The precincts are not large, but the mountain gate is said to have been from the Kamakura period. This temple has a rare tree called Genpei Goshiki camellia. According to the explanation version, the trunk is divided into 3 books and the branches are 6m at the height of the tree 6m and the ground 1m. This tree is not a graft, but a single trunk < red, white, pink, shibori (red and white), blurred five colors > flowers bloom, red and ...
