We will disseminate information about "Zenryuji" in Nishi Asakusa, Taito-ku. I visited "Zenryuji" on October 3, 2023. To access "Zenryuji", take the ３ exit of "Tawaramachi Station" on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, proceed as it is, and there is "Mr. Donut Asakusa Shop" at the first traffic light, so turn left there. Go straight for about 70 ｍ and there is a crossroads. After going there for about 10 ｍ, there is a gate of "Zenryuji" on your right. "Zenryuji" is a single ... of the Jodo Shinshu sect.

There are many small temples in Nishi Asakusa near Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station. Zenryuji is also one of the Jodo Shinshu temples. Although it is a new concrete main hall, it has a Japanese-style atmosphere.

There was a statue of a cloth bag in the precincts. I wondered if there was something from it. Although it looks traditional, it was made of modern reinforced concrete.

The gate is open and you can enter the precincts, but there is a graveyard, and it is a temple centered on the Danke and is not a tourist temple. The main hall is a modern concrete building. There are many temples in Nishi Asakusa and there are no tourists, so I think it's a good place to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the atmosphere of Teramachi.
