The courtyard purchased by Xixiang's prosperous brother in the Meiji era used to be other people's luxurious houses, which contained Heguan and Yangguan, and the courtyard of the princes contained waterfalls and ponds, as well as a back-to-back garden. Later, it was used as a residence for the old state-owned railway staff and was restored as part of the famous park after the land was acquired in Muhei District Park.
The garden at the time of Kansei Park (Edo period) is left, and you will be overwhelmed by the splendor. This place was originally owned by Takamori Saigo's younger brother, but it was confiscated after Takamori committed suicide in the Seinan War. How regretful!
Kanmo Park is located at No. 1125, Erding Mu, Tsing Ye Tai, Muqu District, Tokyo, Japan. It is only a few minutes'walk from Zhongmuqu Station or Daiguanshan Station on on the East-East Transverse Line. The Park was originally a private courtyard in Houkangfan of the Jiangkuan era, known as the "Moon of the Waste City"; it has green grasslands, waterfalls, central pools, back-to-back galleries, the Ocean Pavilion and the Japanese Daiwa Pavilion, and courtyard exhibition rooms.
Very quiet park, Japanese courtyard style, very beautiful. The day we went was a weekday afternoon, and there were few people in the vast green space. It was very comfortable.
