It's on the premises of Kumano Shrine.
It is on the left side of the torii gate of Kumano Shrine. Or rather, Kumano Shrine was built at the site of Ninomaru of Shimura Castle. The approach is long and it is a place where you can feel the power.
There is a stone monument next to the torii gate of Kumano Jinja shrine
Shimura Castle was built by Mr. Shimura, a member of the Toshima clan, and was later used as a branch castle of Akatsuka Castle. If you walk along the approach to Kumano Shrine on the south side of Shimura Sanchome Station, you will find a castle ruins monument and an explanation board next to the torii gate. The precincts were quiet.
